Hope you're right and obviously Joe Shields knows both lads very well. Just wonder if they might be a little lightweight for the Prem in terms of this season.

My feeling on the two kids from City is that they are very much for the future. I think they'll be playing for the second string for some time but we'll see.

Great window overall. Striker would have been the icing on the cake but I guess we'll see how it goes and then maybe if necessary do some business in the next window which is not far off. Seems there is money to spend for the right player and I understand us not rushing things after the Gakpo deal went south.

To be fair nobody knows what deals may have been done late and not announced yet. Unlikely but it could still happen.

If by any chance we are going to unveil a late signing I imagine it will be kept as water tight as possible to avoid any last minute hitches. Probably not going to happen but I'm clinging on to any slight hope.

The major deals are yet to come is my view. Not specific to Saints but in general. Reckon there is an awful lot of money waiting to be spent in the next 7 hours. Then we'll see the dominoes start to fall and SSN will go into overdrive. The calm before the storm if you like.

We're in for a roller coaster few hours having already done some brilliant business this window. Most of us agree that a good striker is still needed and we know there is a pot of money to spend. I'm hoping something will come out of left field and catch us all by surprise but appreciate the club needs to do due diligence on any major signing. Maybe there is plenty still going on in the background and the owners have one more surprise up their sleeve. Keeps us all interested and on our toes and more exciting than some of our recent windows.

Lets go gazump them at the last minute 🙂

I see what you are saying but we do play a lot more long ball now especially from Bazuna. Che did well against Chelsea but normally he's not the best in the air so a big centre forward would be an asset for me.
