Didn't see any noticeable improvement - thought it was much the same in terms of our quality on the ball, movement and shape. We are struggling with this 5 at the back formation and I don't think our fluency will improve until we ditch it and play 433 or 4231. It's tough to play 5 at the back unless you have the players to make it work. I think we need to simplify things with a back 4 so that everyone knows their job.

Yeah, they're definitely playing us and, having seen that brilliant free kick, we need to leave the Aston Martin showroom and start looking at a selection of second hand runabouts. We aint getting this feller.

Seems we are struggling to finalise the deal for Spertsyan and my gut feeling is that it was never really going to happen. Regards Dibling and Fernandes I don't think any club is paying what we want for either of them so, unless that changes, they'll both be big players for us. Up front I'm starting to give up on Stewart and Downs needs time. With what we have, if nobody else leaves, I hope Will Still decides to ditch 5 at the back and switch to 4231. Decent enough point after gifting them a goal. Some good moments but still far too many mistakes and we continually give the ball away and give away cheap free-kicks. Robinson was very good as was Wee Man. The rest not so. Manning again looked solid when he came on so would prefer him to Wellington. Quarshie still looks like an accident waiting to happen - doubt we'll have to wait long. Need to get to September and see what we've got - need that creativity in midfield for sure.
