  1. What is the matter with Larios, i keep forgetting we have him. He's had more managers than games played.
  2. the fact we scored a goal from a corner is win in itself 🤣
  3. As an aside of our stats i saw the stats from Bayerns 3-0 win v Frankfurt yesterday and thought what the fuck.
  4. I have come to the conclusion when i start the build up thread good things happen. Wont start the next one as I want to use my power for the really big games.
  5. Have you not seen how much better our set pieces have been over the last 6 or so games ? and how fast we always try to take them.
  6. Aside from all the above has anyone been slightly disconcerted by how Burnley who played this way last season have been able to implement it successfully in premier league. Not sure how much has been down to losing Tella/Maatsen/THB etc, but its interesting to watch incase we do get promoted.
  7. I would guess if this occurs it dependent on what he thinks what the opposition would do ? Again speculation but we oscillate too much between the Leeds, Blackburn intensity v the other games. If he doesnt then he really needs to work on his pre-match comments and say what he says to get us to play like yesterday.
  8. Leeds and Ipswich next few games, Ipswich will either kill or be killed over this period.
  9. I admit I laughed purely how shit it was and how much shit he will get. Fortunately he wont get a pen anytime soon so he will learn a lot from that miss.
  10. One thing Charly has done and been consistent on is that when its fucking freezing he still wears shorts sleeve shirts and no gloves, one of the few yesterday with some of the others being scottish. Proper tough.
  11. Agree with this
  12. Came in here the other night annoyed and frustrated so its only right i say what a great job he did today, team was agressive and on the front foot, way higher up the pitch, thought aribo had a great game as well. All the subs were good but both Charly and Mara were really impactful and am really happy for both of them. Became complacent about Fraser as he always delivers off the bench, if only we can get 90mins of it out of him. Well done coaching staff, good game and clean sheet.
  13. great result, great subs, great effort much more aggressive today. Well done all
  14. I confidently predict a 1-0 with our goal coming in the 101st minute after a long ball forward cannons off Che's bum into the net. We will have over 80% possession but Blackburn will have more shots at goal. The words proud and brave will be used by the manager who will then take offence at Blackmore when he asks him what he had for lunch.
  15. To be fair when you've got a playmaker like Manning setting you up Coventry were always going to get chances.
  16. I think most of us realise we are extremely lucky to get on this run and get as many points as we have. Injury winner v Hull injury time equaliser v Preston Injury time winner v Millwall And that was in just in a 4 game spell. Sometimes when you talk about possession and dominating the ball you've also got to admit if you are wearing your big boy pants that you should also be scoring a decent amount of goals as the output, we don't get PTS for possession. I think I'm more frustrated as we have all known our strikers since ings left have not been up to quality and like here we are nearly in 2024 no better off.
  17. Ok ignore me I am genuinely angry about this game. That is 11 games in the league now (out of 21) where we have scored 1 goal or less which for a bloke who bigs up possession style but says about the goalscoring " we will get it right etc etc" is fucking shocking if you want to consistently win games. Someone ask him how Leicester score for fun, how Ipswich do it or how does Daniel "I dont give a" Farke gets his teams scoring a few goals more. Also why is Che Adams shit in a league he scored loads in, why is the Scottish Mr Glass always broken and why did Adam Armstrong think tonight kicking over the bar counted as points (apologies Arma but your friendly fire). Why does Manning think its fine to do a Stu Armstrong impression and lose the ball just outside the box game after game leading to conceding a goal. Who put Joe Aribo on the left wing to start ? Are midfielders allowed to shoot ? When will someone ask Martin why his teams cant score a lot and every fuck up cost up a win or a draw. Also goalscorers list is a joke, check how much more balanced Leicester's is. Ok for the rest of the season i will predict 1-0 cos we are shit goalscorers.
  18. Can't score and with Manning in defence can't defend.
  19. Have to say am surprised by the negativity on here ce soir. The bits I paid attention too as I was scrolling through aesthetically pleasing ladies on Instagram just showed us rolling forward chance after chance. Of course our conversion rate means we'd fall in a bucketful of tits and come out sucking our thumbs. Apologies ladies but this idiom and my Instagram viewing played a part.
  20. Have to say it but the last 3 games our set pieces have been different in a positive way, quite good and nearly leading to opportunities, well done to the newish. set piece coach
  21. Am currently on this one from soccerstreams - https://poscitesch.com/southampton-vs-coventry/

  23. never, i have full confidence of our 3-1 win tonight. I am right 100% of the times where I get the score correct.
  24. Did a version myself Good afternoon, Russell. Can you give us an assessment of the squad ahead of the Coventry City match? Yes, of course. We've been working hard in training and the squad is looking good. We have a few players who are carrying minor injuries, but overall, I'm pleased with the fitness levels and the commitment shown by the players. There have been reports of Flynn potentially returning to the team. Can you provide an update on his situation? Flynn has been making good progress in his recovery and there is a possibility that he could be available for selection for the Coventry City match. We will continue to monitor his fitness and make a decision closer to the game. In previous interviews, you've mentioned the importance of finding a balance between structure and freedom on the pitch. Can you elaborate on that? Absolutely. It's crucial for us to have a solid structure in place, but at the same time, we want our players to have the freedom to express themselves and play with instinct. It's about finding that balance between following a game plan and allowing our players to make decisions based on their feeling and intuition. You've recently praised Shay's performance in the team. Can you expand on that? Shay has been outstanding in recent matches. He's shown great determination, skill, and leadership on the pitch. It's important for us to recognize and appreciate the contributions of our players, and Shay has certainly been a key player for us. We want him to feel valued and continue enjoying his football. Mason has been absent from the team in recent games. Can you shed some light on that situation? Mason is currently dealing with a minor injury, which has kept him out of the squad. As a manager, it's always difficult to make tough decisions regarding team selection, especially when it involves leaving out talented players like Mason. However, we have to prioritize the overall well-being and fitness of our players. We'll continue to support Mason in his recovery and hope to have him back in action soon.
