I think when Downes piled in and caused the melee 100 yards from danger it turned the game. We looked good at 1-0 for 10-15 mins, well in control and Fratton was worried. Tonda should have been given a decent length contract full time Tuesday night. No idea why he hasn’t got the job already? Taking into consideration the shite realistic options out there I was personally never adverse to him getting it after Sheff Wed. The last two games have been some of the best football I’ve seen in a decade from us. Announce Tonda and don’t disrespect him with some stupid end of the season contract. Saints get top 2 with Tonda.
