The debate this week is on Sky so I'm not sure how many will watch it but next weeks it is on the BBC and it could, possibly, decide the election.
If I'm honest I thought the tories had it in the bag and now I'm not so sure as Clegg and the Liberals really seem to appeal to the floating voters and women.
Like most I don't want Brown as PM but I also definitely don't want citizen Dave.
I was pleasantly surprised for find that all the candidates standing in my constituency hail from it or very close by in the country.
Has that now become the norm?
I know a poster on here with a property portfolio similar to that who is also involved in banking. He comes from a council estate. Are his kids upper class?
I would suggest you do some research as you are actually looking dafter that usual.
Still the gimps on here won't be satisfied.
Some will mither despite never going and some coffin dodgers will moan that we haven't got two out and out wingers and so the wins are rubbish as we aren't winning in style.
IMHO this season has been fantastic and it's down to the manager. The owner and chairman have given him the tools but he's the one that's done the job.
1st point. Great idea in places such as Oz & Canada but unworkable on a small Island such as ours, although, as it all about skills based immigration only, I see the logic.
2 point. Vote winner. The Cold War is over and people (women) don't want to spend that sort of money on a relic. It's been mentioned by my missus and both my sisters (one Tory one Labour).
I'd love to know why you think we need a relic of the Cold War and not a modern airbourne delivery system with which to nuke who exactly?
I'd sooner 1/10 of the cost of Trident was spent where it was really needed with HM Forces.
I would suggest that many people, my missus included, found Clegg more "normal" than Brown (disliked by most) or Cameron (considered smarmy).
Many, many people vote of personality and not policy, which is why Cameron beat Davis in the 1st place.
