  1. Score draw between Clegg and Cameron but Brown wasn't far behind. My missus said that Cameron looked like he was trying to hard.
  2. He's better than last week f'sure but score draw at the moment.
  3. I could never vote tory as I despise them and everything about them. Lower than vermin. I cannot support Labour at the moment due to Brown and his failure to fund the equipment of the troops in both Afghanistan and Iraq. As ex-forces that betrayal is unforgivable. I'm tempted to vote Green but may well vote Liberal. Once Brown has been ousted I will return to Labour
  4. I think his point is valid. If your going to play up in front of the OB who have camcorders then man up to the consequences. There is no way that they deserve jail time and yes I also believe that the OB allowed it but there is no point in them squinnying now.
  5. If you'd like to check previous postings on the subject I'll think you'll find it's been mentioned, even before they went up in front of the beak. The prosecution route was mapped out before the event but what with you being a top lad 'n all you have your finger on the pulse.
  6. That they're not the Tories or Nu Labour.
  7. If anything it shows how mistrusted the tories are.
  8. The current poll of polls is thus: C 33% L 27% Li 30% Ot 10%
  9. Yes, it was and we questioned it.
  10. Osbourne makes Cable look like an economic giant. The less said about Darling the better. Whilst I think all tories are c*nts and lower than a skate bast*rd I really cannot understand why Citizen Dave, the ordinary chap, didn't appoint Clarke in place of Osbourne. It's an insane decision. Even us lefties appreciate that Clarke knows what he's on about.
  11. My B-I-L is a DS on the case and yes, they are all going to be pushing for custodials.
  12. They have to come out of admin having paid off, in full, all of their footballing debts or its minus points.
  13. Amen to that! Too many, far too many career politicians.
  14. If he hadn't the tories wouldn't be squinnying about him would they. Oddly enough I also feel that many people like the idea of a hung parliament and people having to work together for the good of the country. I know it's not going to happen like that but, I feel, many do. It certainly is an odd campaign.
  15. They definitely looked at him and toyed with the idea and that comes from the boardroom at Everton.
  16. He'll end up at QPR I feel.
  17. It would appear that you are the only one who cares. Ever wondered why the other two parties aren't using it as a stick to beat with with? I'll tell you. Duckhouses, moats and porn films.
  18. The country craved change in 97 and ir does again now. This time, however, change is no longer so obvious.
  19. 1st year payments won't cover that plus they have the secured to pay, which takes priority as footballing debts are actually unsecured and only enforced by the EPL and FL.
  20. In 1997 Blair represented genuine change and looked and appeared young and full of vigor. Millions of women voted for him because of that but grew tired of the spin and smarm and see those negative attributes in Cameron. Blair certainly won on personality and politics and society certainly became obsessed by it and now, it would appear, they are going to vote on it and not the policies. It certainly is an odd election!
  21. So that makes it nearly £58mill they need to clear and that's at 20p in the £ for the non footballing and non secured debt!
  22. They really are in serious sh*t. HTF are they going to pay off all those footballing debts in time for the FL not to dock points? Are the monies owed for players image rights part of the footballing debt or is it unsecured?
  23. Well I never! Have they really? My M-I-L is a good example I think. A working class northerner who voted for Thatcher and Major. She then switched to Blair. I asked her is she was going to vote Tory knowing how she feels about Brown. "Not voting for that smarmy git" was her reply before going off on one about expenses. I think she's quite representative in so much as she sees the tories as more guilty than the rest due to the press that the duckhouse and moat got. The Liberals dodged all of that and are picking up support from those who despise the current government but really don't trust the tories. No doubt it will all change come polling day but there is a definite sense that change is needed in some way, shape or form.
  24. Never seen him. I assume he's good and young?
  25. It is a fact, direct from a director of Everton, that they did consider him as a "£2million off the bench option". The decided not to proceed.
