Thanks trousers but its a little after the event now. anyway my suspicion is that this is the person because they have ignored my friend's message on Facebook and told me the truth about staying in wales and that they bank with rbs. Could still be a fake of course but that is for the police to decide and if nothing else maybe they will alert this callum if he is innocent that someone has stolen his identity.

An item I have paid for that has not been sent, communication from the seller until the moment the money was sent and then no communication apart from one text, initial agreement to send a tracking number and then a refusal to send a tracking number (because clearly the item has not been sent. ) ignoring phone calls and ignoring my friend on Facebook who has messaged them about the matter.

Pass on his location to the police. Also if I know his specific location then it is more likely I will get my money back.

Got a mate on it who tells me the IP from his email can be traced to hook in wales. Bit dense because he told me he was in wales so is clearly telling the truth. Is there any way I can get a more specific location on an IP?

Filed police report so got that side sorted. Hopefully they can track him down
