Yep. Not really about the money, more that some w*nker can be perfectly pleasant on the phone and then try to screw you over. Luckily he doesn't seem to have done much to hide who he is.

I have a friend in common with him on facebook strangely who has now messaged him and threatened with police. Surprise surprise I get a text reply being very agressive and basically saying it will be arriving tomorrow (but still no tracking number as agreed). I suspect he is just saying this in order to stop me from ringing him on his mobile. I shall wait until tomorrow and then go and visit the address this weekend to see what he has to say. Luckily my friend knows his family so either way I'm getting the 150 back!

I have texted him similar stuff already. If he continues to hang up on me then I will be paying him a visit...

I imagine we would do. I do think the club is pretty poor with communication and things like selling tickets thoughts. In comparison to other clubs I certainly wouldn't describe us as particularly fan friendly. If I were listing the positives and negatives then that would be a big negative that I would highlight for the club to perform better in. Things like this aren't the worst thing in the world but it's not the greatest thing for the club.

I suspect it is guidelines for best practice. Happens a lot with my job. I don't have to adhere to the various initiatives but it makes my business much poorer if I ignore it.

Whilst I'm not actually particularly bothered myself, it's not good PR for the club and it would be nice to think that the club were actively trying to improve customer experiences. I know myself how frustrating it can be to do simple things such as buying tickets

Why is cork classed as a reserve just because he has been injured? If the same had happened to gaston would he suddenly be a reserve?

Had a play with the iphone 5 today. I think it is amazing how light they have managed to get it but rather like the ps3 controllers, I think it is maybe a bit too light. I liked the old ps2 controllers better because they felt more solid and weighty. The phone is really fast but the screen didn't overly impress me and I don't see a huge difference between it and my iphone 4, certainly not enough of a difference to justify 500 pounds. After playing with both, I'm going with the S3 for definite (and my friend who was set on getting the iphone 5 agrees and is sticking with the 4 instead.)

So maybe a bit silly to make statements like saying we are self sustaining when in reality you have no idea and our last piece of available evidence suggests we were a long way from that scenario.
