  1. I realise that. The situation whilst not perfect would be infinitely preferable to having all of our laws dictated to us by brussels. Yes some of our laws are enforced by Europe, but not all.
  2. And so in your mind we are being forced into this because we have no other choice? I don't believe that, we have plenty of other options.
  3. The Euro in its current form is a failure. When the Euro was released, those who said 'it won't work like this' were called things like 'the looney right.' The Euro will only really work when we have a United States of Europe situation, something that I hope to never see in my lifetime. Again, what specifically is it that you are opposed to? What have they said that is so completely wrong and worthy of ridicule?
  4. And here s the post: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?14620-Pompey-Takeover-Saga&p=1203250#post1203250 Where he says this: Proving that once again Corp is utterly wrong.
  5. Oh and as a sidenote, in case Corp Ho tries to claim again that they uncovered the rumafia site months before us, a quick search on this thread finds that the word 'dubov' was first used on the 7th of February about the Russians potentially taking them over. The rumafia site was posted that same day here: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?14620-Pompey-Takeover-Saga&p=960658#post960658 Seems Corp was totally wrong again. Congrats to Danish Saint for that.
  6. And when European law trumps British Law and means that effectively Britain is no longer able to govern themselves? Is that acceptable to you? I would consider that a very dangerous development but make no mistake that is surely the end game.
  7. What specific policies about the 'Looney right' are you referring to? They looney right thought that the Euro was doomed to failure and they have been proven totally and utterly correct.
  8. Vince Wolanin and Howe are rumoured to be interested. Do we know anything about them?
  9. But it's a move that polls have consistently shown is not what the British people want. Heck, even most of Cameron's party are not happy with that prospect. I certainly don't want European law trumping British law. The system would be open to so much abuse (and don't try and pretend it will be any different to the corruption that exists now.)
  10. Just watched the news. What angers me is that the pro Euro lot are a big reason why we are in this mess. The ynow deny the British people their say and push for further integration because to not do so would cause an economic disaster. But closer ties are what they wanted in the first place so they are just using scare tactics to get what they wanted originally. They caused this mess and so the choice is either take the pain from their stupidity and let countries keep their sovereignty or give them what they wanted through the backdoor. I know what I prefer. If it continues the way it is going, we will be looking at a European army and police force and being forced to join the Euro because there will be no alternative. It's so obvious and it totally stinks.
  11. For me, this single issue will decide whether I continue to support Cameron or not. If he signs this treaty against the wishes of much of his party and the British public then that's it for me I am afraid.
  12. I love Boris. He is my favourite politician. He should be PM.
  13. Think that says more about you than him.
  14. So exactly the same as the Italians then. I imagine that other countries are very similar and yet people consider the Euro is needed.
  15. Changed it for you.
  16. As my mother suffers from this, I am also strongly in favour.
  17. Well hopefully you will not use the latter in future and risk putting words in other people's mouths.
  18. My Italian relatives have always been against the Europe and said that Italians in general all were. The moment it was introduced prices went up to take advantage of the fact that people had difficulty adjusting to the new prices. Apparently it has been more expensive ever since.
  19. Do you understand the difference between 'I don't want the Euro to fail' and 'we' (as in the collective we) don't want it to?
  20. WHAT?? You can't be serious, do you really believe that? Christ.
  21. Presumably you will stop with comments such as 'we don't want the Euro to fail' then.
  22. My father shares my views and has an economics degree.
  23. You don't want it to fail. I do if it is our only way of getting rid of it and your comments are just scaremongering about something you know little about.
  24. Seems unlikely in this day and age. People will be fine. The vast majority of scaremongers are pro Euro and that's because they are desperate to keep this project going at any cost despite being proven utterly utterly wrong.
