Very much doubt nothing is happening. Any rate we only need two players.

It doesn't matter either way. He has said it hundreds of times over the years and people know his thoughts on the matter. He admitted over three years ago that he just said it because he was on a wind up to irritate people and that he would not mention it again. The fact that he still does is such an obvious wind up (as is the insistence that we will be around the relegation zone- I'm not sure why everyone keeps responding with insults.) Just ignore him and he will stop doing it so much.
-
I saw the gammy eye photo. He looked exactly how I had imagined him.
-
Something you promised never to mention again about three years ago. You are a WUM.
-
It's not an opinion though, it's just him replying to get a rise out of people.
-
Makes Monkou look sh*te?
-
He doesn't really believe what he writes anyway. He posts purely to get a reaction (and has admitted as much in the past.) Just ignore it.
-
It amazes me that dalek continues to get as many replies as he does. I started totally ignoring his posts about twelve months ago. I'm not sure why others don't do the same.

Agree with TDD here. Besides, getting NPC players to play league one is a bit different from getting prem players to play NPC. I mean look at Nolan and the obscene wages West Ham are paying him. Lets get the best players we can now for sensible prices. A good mix of potential and proven quality is what is needed.
-
Yeah that's my thoughts too and one of the reasons we went for Jaidi. You need experience at CB with a potential option to ease in slowly (which we have with Martin and Seaborne to a lesser extent.)
-
I know it doesn't. Thanks for replying in a sensible manner. I can certainly see your point of view even if we differ slightly but that's what this forum is all about rather than wetties like Mike quibbling over the use of a word and take mock offence on someone elses behalf.
-
I've explained in numerous replies above. The original poster has tried to explain his view to be and doesn't seem remotely 'offended' by it. Perhaps you could give your views about who you feel would be the better option rather than continuing with this silliness. I'm sure everyone else would prefer that (I know I would.)
-
That's a fair comment but I would prefer to go for the recent proven success this year. If the Kilgallon gamble didn't pay off then we could be left to really regret it.
-
In your opinion. Unless you are saying that I am not allowed to be astounded. This is getting silly now. I was astounded that he felt Kilgallon would be the better option for us but have at no point have I said that he is not allowed that opinion. You are seeing things that are not there and taking this thread off topic.
-
Look at it another way. Last two seasons we have bought players who could do a job in the prem but also ones who can provide quality in league one but not necessarily the league above (Jaidi). For me, Gorkss would be our Jaidi type signing, proven quality in this league and exactly what we need right now with a question mark should we get promoted.
-
I was astounded that he would think that because I totally disagree. At no point did I say he wasn't entitled to that opinion, unless you misunderstand the definition of astounded?
-
Has he though? It seems he was farmed out by Sunderland as he couldn't hack it in the prem.
-
Did I suggest otherwise? It's just that Kilgallon has had an underwhelming last year. Was hardly played at Boro, hardly played at Doncaster too. Gorkss played a huge number of games last year for a team that were easily promoted as champions with a great defence and the majority of QPR fans don't want to lose him. I don't see Kilgallon being first choice in the prem but really Gorkss sounds like a cracking signing and would be exactly what we need considering we already have the potential option with Martin.
-
Have to say, I'm astounded that you would say that.
-
Think he plays on the left side. Would be an excellent addition, looking at old QPR threads from last year, they call him an unsung hero and brilliant.
-
CB Fry is a legend. Quality post once more
-
If we played like Ipswich then I would still be confident. We were that good...
-
A million was a bargain for him. The scout guy who recommended him to us and worked with us previously is a legend.
-
Or QPR or Newcastle who have both p*ssed it in the last few years. You never know though I think it is unlikely. It is nice to see a Southampton team on top of the league though. Stupid I know after just three games but I am loving it!

Say we are top of the league! . One of my favourite things about the result on Tuesday is that I knew we would be top until Saturday so I could really enjoy it. Who knows, this could be the only time we are there this season and as it's the first time we have been top of a league that I can remember at the moment, it's worthy of a tiny celebration! Has anyone else had a little look at the table since Tuesday despite promising themselves that they weren't going to bother until September?
