  1. There were two choices that Cameron had to make last night. He chose the right one an therefore did the right thing.
  2. You do like playing devils advocate don't you trousers? I know you don't believe that
  3. I just don't see the need to bash Cameron when he has done the right thing. Slate politicians when they do bad and praise when they do good is my motto.
  4. But if he achieves what is best for us and the conservatives then what does it matter?
  5. Ha! Right in sarkozy's French face while rule Britannia plays quietly in the background.
  6. I best SaintAndy is upset at this news and believes it to be the end of the world...
  7. It's also the right choice. As the man said above, the Euro fails and the answer is to become even closer to Europe? That makes little sense.
  8. And another:
  9. There is a great email on the BBC site that sums it up perfectly: It amazes me that we are held as the "bad apple" of Europe. This crisis came about because the single currency was a flawed idea from the outset, (without centralised fiscal policy how can you have a single currency) and that is the reason UK didn't join. Now once the plot unfolds and these arguments are proven we are asked to contribute to a rescue of the EU and, by doing so cutting our own throats.
  10. Yep. Been saying that for ages but the pro Euro lot won't accept it!
  11. Well done Cameron! Best move he has made since he came to power. I am ecstatic about this. We showed we would not be bullied into letting the French and Germans take charge of our country because of their failed Euro experiment. I am proud to be British today.
  12. It's an upscaling dvd player that plays CDs.
  13. Is that for my model?
  14. You are wrong dune. He sent a PM to a small number saying he was leaving and giving his reasons. He never threw a public hissy fit.
  15. There was bananaman at a game a few years back.
  16. It slides open to the left no popping involved
  17. In Southampton? I have a Philips home theatre hts6600 and the cd tray is meant to slide open but has stopped doing so. Any ideas?
  18. If he performs well he will undoubtedly get game time. If Chaplow is out then we can play Guly on the right with Cox up front.
  19. Subsequently updated their facebook page expressing potential interest so worth keeping an eye on.
  20. I realise that. The situation whilst not perfect would be infinitely preferable to having all of our laws dictated to us by brussels. Yes some of our laws are enforced by Europe, but not all.
  21. And so in your mind we are being forced into this because we have no other choice? I don't believe that, we have plenty of other options.
  22. The Euro in its current form is a failure. When the Euro was released, those who said 'it won't work like this' were called things like 'the looney right.' The Euro will only really work when we have a United States of Europe situation, something that I hope to never see in my lifetime. Again, what specifically is it that you are opposed to? What have they said that is so completely wrong and worthy of ridicule?
  23. And here s the post: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?14620-Pompey-Takeover-Saga&p=1203250#post1203250 Where he says this: Proving that once again Corp is utterly wrong.
  24. Oh and as a sidenote, in case Corp Ho tries to claim again that they uncovered the rumafia site months before us, a quick search on this thread finds that the word 'dubov' was first used on the 7th of February about the Russians potentially taking them over. The rumafia site was posted that same day here: http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?14620-Pompey-Takeover-Saga&p=960658#post960658 Seems Corp was totally wrong again. Congrats to Danish Saint for that.
