Not necessarily. All it does is reduce any risk (there is risk with ALL players). It's a really good idea IMO.

I think your main problem is that most people have said something like "sounds like a good signing, could go either way though but lets wait and see" whereas you wade in with "FFS a loan, I have a bad feeling about this Pardew isn't sure if he is the right player FFS season is f*cked up already" which I'm sorry but IMO is a completely ridiculous view to take.

WTF are you on about? It feels wrong? FEELS? What is the point in discussing something with you if you are basing your opinion on feelings.

Which clearly shows why we have structured the deal how we have! Imagine if we had structured the Delgado deal in the same way, it would have saved us an awful lot of money.

Pardew could be extremely confident that this will work out, but you can never be 100 percent certain. If you have the chance to do a deal like this then I would always do it. It means that even if there is a slim possibility that he is sh1te or that he gets a bad injury then we can send him back no strings attached. Anyone who moans about that is a troll and just looking to get people's backs up IMO.
