  1. Limiting the number of questions is not vetting the questions. People put their hands up and are then invited to ask a question, the questions are not known beforehand and therefore are not vetted.
  2. Kindly stop posting in the thread if you find it tedious. Posting on the thread calling it tedious only serves to heighten the tedium.
  3. Excellent idea Steve and thanks for the courteous reply. I know this has been said before but it really is a pleasure having you back posting.
  4. I asked him in October but there had not been a decision then. I since dropped my phone in a puddle, losing his number in the process. Thanks for the concern though but this is a public forum and the first two times I asked the question I received a satisfactory reply.
  5. Well obviously but I thought he had just mentioned him out of the blue which is much more revealing than just talking about our next opponent's danger men.
  6. I originally asked if there was going to be a fans forum, many said it was delayed. I asked again after a couple of months because I had not heard anything and posters said it had been delayed until the new year but Cortese had said it was something he was very keen to make happen. It is now the new year so I am asking again to see if anything has been organised like Solent said it would. If anything it is Solent's failing for not following it up but no it is not covering all the same things. Your opinion may be that we don't need a fans forum but in my opinion we do and according to those who were at the dinner, it is an opinion which Cortese shares. Can you respect that some people may have a different opinion to you? It always amazes me that people post on a thread just to call it boring. If you don't like it then don't bother to post!
  7. I don't think it should be an either or scenario. Both methods have advantages and I think both should be used IMO.
  8. Why make a comment like that? For your information I know James Luff, the bloke who reads the scores on Solent so he sorts me out with a couple of tickets every year. I have been to every one since Lowe.
  9. Hmm not really looking like signing him then. Shame.
  10. What on Earth are you talking about? I WAS NOT EVEN QUOTING YOU? I was not referring to you in any way. You are paranoid.
  11. I think you don't understand what vetted means.
  12. What does he say about him?
  13. Did he mention that we would see at least 2 more players in?
  14. No they aren't.
  15. Well actually... Yes. A ST is a symbol of a long term commitment and holders of them should be given priority over people who do not have one. Does not mean that you shouldn't be able to have a say though.
  16. I've not seen any evidence to suggest that non saints fans have gone to fans forums in the past. You would have to be a pretty sad individual to attend a fans forum when you are not a fan. Your final point I totally disagree with also. SFC should listen to ALL it's supporters who ask questions whilst being mindful that the opinions of season ticket holders hold more weight. Cortese could for instance decide to start charging 80 pounds a match for adults (extreme example) whilst giving every season ticket holder twenty pounds back from their purchase. What I'm trying to say is that non season ticket holders should be able to question and query the club as well. I like the idea of the dinners but if it has been decided that it is the dinners and nothing else (not saying this is the case) then IMO that is a policy of exclusion which I don't agree with. Finally can I say how pleasantly surprised I have been by Cortese. He seems to be doing things much better now than in the summer when there were a number of confusing decisions. Long may it continue. I would like to think however that he is not above questioning and I would hope that the fans forums are not abolished completely.
  17. You can unlock it and use it on any network provider you like for free.
  18. I have no idea what you mean. I can only go on what you actually said. If you meant to say that you feel that STH have more of a right to ask questions then fair enough you have made a mistake. You should be clearer otherwise it looks like you are trying to mislead people.
  19. TBF he was right about Lambert. I would afford him more credibility than some.
  20. The original poster said that Adkins said "we will see at least 2 more players in the building." Adkins did not say that. HTH.
  21. Depends doesn't it. Puts the most into the club in one lump sum maybe but that's a different debate.
  22. I agree but that is not what you said. You said 'if you want to ask questions' then you should be a season ticket holder. Big difference.
  23. IMO we should have both as there is value to be gained from both methods.
  24. That's a very bizarre view IMO. You may have more of a RIGHT to ask questions in the views of some but ST holders being the only ones who should be able to?
  25. http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?25784-Fans-forum&highlight=fans+forum According to this at one of the dinners Cortese said it should be something organised as soon as possible and radio solent on twitter said it was being organised for the new year.
