  1. I will pay double face value for a match day FA cup ticket in the Northam. Trains were delayed for Ipswich so couldn't go to that and no season ticket either.
  2. Whatever. I went to mess them up badly. It's our most important match of the year.
  3. F**k. Haven't had a season ticket this year. Will have to try to procure a ticket from somewhere.
  4. If he scores against the skates then I don't care how much he cost.
  5. Amazing. I went spastic when we were the last 2 balls.
  6. I'm trying not to rise to it. I'm growing weary of some of the strange opinions on here. I might do what Duncan has done and have a break for a bit after the January window.
  7. Do you have any reason for your feeling dunc or is it just a feeling?
  8. I have a feeling he will be here
  9. Otsemebor I feel is necessary for RB. If nothing else for cover because James should not play there. I don't really want James in the team because I don't really think he's very good.
  10. Some fans are mental.
  11. That really does put things into perspective.
  12. Although of course you could argue that had we not spent the Bale and Walcott money etc then we would have had no chance of promotion and thus would have ended up in the same situation that we found ourselves (albeit over a longer period.) We had to achieve promotion to the prem if we wanted the club to continue because the stadium debt made it unsustainable in the long term. The Portsmouth situation is very different. They could quite easily have lived within their means and battled every year. Had they stayed up they would have continued to pocket the TV money and been quite comfortable. You could argue that we had little choice whereas Portsmouth certainly did. It's late so apologies if I have not made myself clear but hopefully someone will understand what I'm saying!
  13. I imagine they will gamble everything on premiership survival. Sh*t or bust and I reckon they COULD make it...
  14. Fair post 19. I personally would like Pompey well below us but not out of existence. I think generally there is less charity for Pompey's plight because of their ludicrous financial mismanagement. They are getting what they deserve to be honest whilst we suffered largely due to stadium debt which could easily have been serviced had we kept our premership status.
  15. Incorrect. We did get higher attendances towards the end of last year but people thought (correctly) that any extra finance was basically putting money in the pockets of the administrator. Look at the terrible idea that was that legends match. It was organised on behalf of the fans but everyone knew that it was a terrible idea and a drop in the ocean and thus they were not prepared to waste their money. The situations are completely different.
  16. Bit of the debt played off with the TV money.
  17. I like him. A lot better than Will Cope used to be anyway.
  18. I've always quite liked him. Think he is solid a lot of the time (though not worth a million obviously.) Much prefer him to James at RB anyway and can't comment about otsemebor.
  19. Pompey fan on a messageboard talking about the pompey protest coverage on SSN: For any secret scummers on hear, Don't worry La Tiss did not let you down He was smirking like a knut! Just trying hard not to show it, Legend.
  20. Although this has been lessened somewhat surely with the Barnard purchase.
  21. Brilliant.
  22. Can you change it to "Playing together seriously harms the chances of other teams."
  23. Cheers nick for posting this. I wouldn't have seen it otherwise.
  24. Lol. That was a great thread back in the day from the Bournemouth fans.
