  1. Yes but the club postponing the game is up to the club. They don't have to postpone it whereas bad weather means the club have no choice in the matter. Anyway it doesn't matter.
  2. But we don't have to agree with it. Personally I would have liked to have seen the game go ahead, but I'm not exactly going to make a huge fuss. Plenty of people have said the same.
  3. Why? Because he hold a different opinion to you? People can cry and lay flowers and other people can feel sad and then get on with their life. That's their choice.
  4. Yes but we do not know that at the moment sao it is fine to question it. No one is demanding that the game goes ahead, just questioning if this was the best approach.
  5. The weather is an act of God. This is a decision taken by the club which some consider to be an over the top reaction and others think it would have been better to have business as usual to honour Markus' memory. Obviously some will be more inconvenienced than others.
  6. And will you? You were one of the first to be point scoring.
  7. I'm not getting into an argument but please find one 'moan' about the game being postponed. There isn't one.
  8. smirking saint you are putting words in my mouth once again saying i do not care when this is clearly not the case. The post from sfc1976 sums up my feelings perfectly. Now please respect a persons right to discuss what saints related topics they wish and I will of course respect your view
  9. Pretending you are a better fan than Wilko or that somehow he isn't sad that our owner has died? It is possible to discuss both, to be sad about his passing but also to worry about getting money back (thirty pounds is a hell of a lot to some.) Fed up with the sanctimonious stuff like we cannot possibly talk about anything because of his death. Get a grip.
  10. Oh do give it a rest.
  11. Maybe. I don't really care what those tw*ts think anyway.
  12. I would send your train ticket in with your ticket and explain the situation.
  13. You can bet there would be saints fans doing the same thing if the situations were reversed. Just ignore them.
  14. That's why I put IMO. Thanks to Crab Lungs who can reply sensibly to someone who expresses a different view.
  15. Good reply from a poster who is always fair. I agree with you, perhaps we should consult his family to decide on what tribute he would feel is best. It could be if he knew he was dying that he just asked to carry on as normal with no big tribute. Personally, the person I am I just find people crying a bit over the top.
  16. Personally I disagree with that. It's an OTT reaction. Definitely put him in the banner though.
  17. Those are my thoughts too, but you will probably get crucified for that!
  18. We don't know that TBF.
  19. Grow up.
  20. I think it's very sad and respects should be paid, but there is a tendency in sad situations like this for people to go over the top for someone who none of us actually knew personally and was only here for a year. Sad yes, but IMO some of the suggestions are slightly over the top.
  21. I think it's OTT and I hope the reaction doesn't get out of hand.
  22. I disagree but it is likely that we will never know.
  23. I disagree but it is likely that we will never know.
  24. If it is true that he knew he was dying when he bought the club, then clearly he bought it as something to die before he died. If this was not the case then it does seem a rather odd thing just to suddenly go and purchase considering his background.
  25. I believe it was Oldknow who introduced them.
