Far better IMO to put it up on the OS and then up on twitter at the same time. No need to put FIRST SIGNING OF THE YEAR! or words to that effect which builds it up into something bigger than it actually is. If they do it next time I will probably ignore them and it could be a bigger signing such as Ward.

Plus it's a loan extension not a signing.

Well yeah but Gaydamak has said he will give the club back the land once he is given what he is owed. The funny thing is that they dispute how much they owe so it's unlikely they will pay him what he wants so they will never be able to expand the ground!

If you read the reactions when a player leaves on here, it's true that some people will slag the player off however good he has been. Often though, if a player is going to be a loss then there a significant number who will say so (yourself for instance.) The key to it is reading fans opinions and discounting the idiots. Hammond, Lambert and Harding all had largely positive reviews from their fans and as yet I haven't seen any Rovers fan saying Lines would be better than what we currently have. Of course their decision is not definitive, yet it is often a good starter point when speculating on how a signing may get on and if they will improve what we have.
