If you read the reactions when a player leaves on here, it's true that some people will slag the player off however good he has been. Often though, if a player is going to be a loss then there a significant number who will say so (yourself for instance.) The key to it is reading fans opinions and discounting the idiots. Hammond, Lambert and Harding all had largely positive reviews from their fans and as yet I haven't seen any Rovers fan saying Lines would be better than what we currently have. Of course their decision is not definitive, yet it is often a good starter point when speculating on how a signing may get on and if they will improve what we have.
