I don't think many fans liked Fuller and for us Beattie was much better. I'm just saying some players have potential but it is only when they move to certain clubs that play a certain way that this is realised. Having said that, I am initially underwhelmed should we sign Lines. I think we are in need of a DM to play alongside Hammond with Morgan coming off the bench.

I think we would have been significantly better off under Pearson. Not that it matter because relegation was one of the best things that has ever happened to us if you think about it.

Trotman really wasn't that good and wasn't even in the first team towards the end of the loan. I imagine Pardew had some in mind should we not be able to keep Trotman and even if we did keep him because we need cover.
