If selling Chamberlin means we can spend an extra million or two on top quality players then it is worth it. I really don't think Chamberlin is as good as the hype. If we weren't known because of Theo and Bale it wouldn't have generated half as much hype as it has.

IMO the boat is still out with Adkins. I think that if Pardew had stayed we would be in a better position now and I also think that with the players we have most managers would have been able to do roughly what Adkins has done so far. It all boils down to if we win promotion or not. If we don't then it has been a big failure.
