  1. You want more than 30? Prepare to be disappointed.
  2. I get he has some experience but he's prkbably not worth more than about 5 million. Given his much publicised attitude problems, I'm not sure why we would want him.
  3. Controversial maybe but I'd possibly consider selling him for £20 million given he's barely kicked a ball in a year. It would be very disappointing no doubt but it might mean we could keep Tella or Alcaraz.
  4. I've listed the 9 or 10 (if you include Salisu) that I would consider to be our best players. They are the best of what we have. I don't think we will sell them all this summer.
  5. None of them have said we are about to sell him for £12 million.
  6. What accounts have said "we are about to sell him for £12m"
  7. Yep. If we point blank refused I can't imagine he would kick up a huge fuss or refuse to play. Unless it's an absolutely huge fee, I can't see us selling him at the moment.
  8. I haven't seen a relegated team sell their best 9 or 10 players in one window. Don't think it's ever happened.
  9. I may be naive but I can't see us selling all nine (I forgot kwp).
  10. How many of those 9 do you think we will end up selling this summer? I'm going to go with 6.
  11. I honestly think if we lose kwp, ABK, Tino, KWP, Lavia, Sulemana, Alcaraz, Tella and Adams then we really aren't going to have enough time to bring in replacements and create a coherent team no matter how much money we spend. For that reason, I think we are going to keep some of the players we may think we are going to sell. There will come a point where maybe some players will want to leave but we will have to say that they can't leave this summer at least.
  12. In all seriousness though, I still don't see us losing all of the seven or eight players we would actually want to keep and who we actually have a chance of keeping (so not jwp or Lavia.)
  13. They meant golden shower.
  14. What's the worst conceivable yet realistic team we can make? Bazunu Bree bednarek Stephens Larios Armstrong new youngster Smallbone Edozie Armstrong Ballard Imagine if we did something like that. If we think of worst case scenario then almost anything will be better from there!
  15. If we lose Lavia, KWP, jwp, Tino, Tella, Sulemana, Adams, Alcaraz and ABK then I agree with you. Need to be keeping at least two or three of them.
  16. Newcastle have money to take the gamble. If he is a hit then they've got a top quality player for a song.
  17. Talksport now reporting we want mega money for Tino. You would think we woukd now how important someone like him is to our plan so maybe this peak has been all from Newcastle.
  18. That's ridiculous. We will still have the resources to assemble a top quality team for this division. We may have a slow start but we should be in the playoffs at the end of the season as an absolute minimum. If we fail to reach the playoffs then Martin will be under severe pressure next year if he even survives that long.
  19. Worryingly few links to players we don't mind losing and more about players we want to keep (tella, livramento.) Suppose we should have expected it but depressing nonetheless to end up with the average abd below players rather than the young ones with high potential that should piss the championship.
  20. Losing livramento woukd be a big blow for me. He was one I was very sure we would be able to keep
  21. I really think we do have to maximise the available time. Not having our coaching team in place is going to harm us if they aren't there when we come back.
  22. Haven't we had really strong season ticket sales though? I get it would be nice to know but it's not really the end of the world.
  23. Yep. Lavia needs selling soon so that we can get a little certainty about some of the others like ABK, Tella etc (even if many of them will go as well.)
  24. Does it really matter? As long as they know that's the important thing.
  25. Of course we had a style, the point was it wasn't trumpeted or advertised as our style of play in the way that Ralph and now Martin have. I find it a bit strange that we would maybe box ourselves in in this fashion.
