  1. I watched the game with my brother in law who played for spurs youth team. I then stayed at the pub to watch the spurs game and was very smug.
  2. Agreed. He really isn't good enough and he's had enough chances. Edozie please.
  3. Also Edozie needs to play more. Adam Armstrong is a good championship player but he's not a premier league player imo.
  4. Today there were load of positive performances which would have been the case even if we had lost. What I ask from saints is that they give their all and leave it all out there and I can say they did that today regardless of the result. Excellent from the team and well done Lyanco especially.
  5. I think had he lost today and arsenal we would have had no choice but to get rid as we'd have probably been bottom. Winning today means we can lose to Arsenal and still probably won't be in the relegation zone. Miraculously considering our stinking performances we seem to get just enough points at the right times.
  6. I still want him to go although I'm so pleased we got the win. He really is a jammy manager, getting a win at exactly the right time.
  7. Similar feeling for us. Don't play too badly and go in one up. All for nothing if we concede and play shite again second half. It's all about this next half, probably our most important half of the season so far.
  8. It stopped working for athletic.
  9. Ralph out.
  10. Could be seeing the last 20 minutes of Ralph here.
  11. Happy to be ahead but I still think we are more likely than not to concede early second half and lose 2-1.
  12. I'm starting to think we will be going down his year now. Lots of things falling apart at once.
  13. Absolutely ridiculous. Shambles. Like a crappy B&B etc etc
  14. Really? What a joke if so.
  15. He thinks the team is worse than it was last year. I'm not sure how you can praise the window as the best in years and then say our team is worse.
  16. I don't care that we waited till the end of the window to fail to sign the attacking player we wanted. I would have preferred us to sign a striker that was an improvement on what we had much earlier in the window.
  17. I've now listened to his show last night and it's obvious that is what he's doing. I do think that is his view to some extent but he's clearly exaggerated things to provoke responses. I'm not sure he's going to endear himself to fans with that tactic.
  18. It wasn't enough. He wasn't the Broja replacement that was required and it was obvious at the time that it wasn't going to be enough. Subsequent events have proven that view correct.
  19. I seem to remember you said it wasn't right to criticise the club for not bringing in a striker because we had brought in Mara...
  20. I seem to remember Lowe getting absolute pelters when we got relegated from the championship. I had a season ticket that year and the atmosphere was toxic on a number of occasions. Forest away when we were already down was superb but that was gallows humour more than anything rather than a desire to support a failing club. I don't think much has changed, any supporters of any club would be having the same reaction given our results and more importantly our performances over the past year.
  21. We were successful in league one. If we had loads of seasons in league one playing shit for the vast majority of the season, you can bet we would have the exact same reactions.
  22. I agree. I was saying what a disaster it was that we hadn't strengthened the attack and got slated.
  23. Nope. Saints fans demand maximum effort every game, the odd win against one of the bigger sides, a certain level of entertaining football and a mentality of trying to go and win games rather than not losing. Largely it is accepted that we will be selling a selection of our best players every year. The ridiculous run of average or terrible performances- particularly at home- over the last few years has mostly been met with muted responses with the odd grumble or two and nothing like you are describing. Saints fans are entitled to a bit of positivity and talk of ambition from those in charge, not just emphasising how lucky we are to make up the numbers. Brighton do not currently have that mentality and it shows. No reason we shouldn't be doing that too.
  24. That's one to get singing in the ground.
  25. Name any other club with our record from the last twenty games that wouldn't be unhappy? The club wants us to accept mediocrity.
