  1. I was told ages ago that Ralph has a serious problem with man management and communication. The source was someone who works with the players and it was multiple players who complained that they were dropped and not told why. Rohl was a huge loss because he was the link between the management and the players. Its got nothing to do with doing badly or doing well, it's been commented on for ages and some people dismissed it on here as sour grapes from certain players who weren't getting picked. It's not.
  2. I'm just remembering the ridiculous comments I received on here for saying this exact thing a few months ago.
  3. Maybe Southgate should have spent less time kneeling and writing letters to the fans and more time actually managing the team successfully.
  4. I think you misunderstand my post. I've actually said I want Ralph to go I just don't think we should be flip flopping on our desire for him to leave based on how we have performed in the previous game.
  5. I'm not sure we should be making a big decision like this based on the performance in one game. Ralph has show that it's really not about one great or awful performance in isolation.
  6. I think it is quite a hard one precisely because we swing between great and horrendous on such a regular basis. Other managers we have had theres been a steady decline or its got to the point where it's obvious it can't continue. The frustrating thing about Ralph is just as you start to think we've got to that point he pulls a Chelsea result out of the bag where we look superb. I really don't understand our team and their mentality. I'm not sure how they can play as they did against Chelsea with all of that commitment and energy and then lose in such a fashion against Villa where they looked so bereft of ideas and played so markedly poorly. It has to be the manager I'm afraid and for me he has reached the point where I do not have confidence that he will consistently get us to play well for a sustained period of time. If we keep him for another year I reckon we will go through more phases of looking great and then looking awful and I'd rather have a manager where we re slowly improving and showing consistency. Ralph to go please.
  7. Since the Premier league has been in existence?
  8. We don't but the chances of it are miles higher. How many lower league clubs have won a league or FA cup?
  9. Always got a chance of a cup whilst in the top league. That's what I want.
  10. I agree. I was really trying to remain objective and ignore the last game in isolation. I do think he should go now because I think that we could be performing better with the players we have whereas before I felt he had a bit of an uphill battle with the lack of quality in the squad.
  11. It's not losing I'm too bothered about its the manner of the loss. When we are bad we really are horrid.
  12. Hilarious all those morons giving us 9 out of ten or higher for the transfer window or minimising our failure to, secure a top class striker.
  13. I'll sleep on it but at the moment I'm finally Ralph out.
  14. Can't help but feel we'd be better under someone else. This is so awful.
  15. Dull and uninspiring team selection. Potential for the world Cup to be a car crash.
  16. Good squad player. I'd keep him for that reason.
  17. Indeed. Also it's in our interest to cooperate with them so we can benefit from future deals like this. It wouldn't surprise me with someone like Lavia if we have already agreed to sell him back and it's just a case of activating it in a summer or two. Essentially a form of a loan.
  18. I'm Marian Pahars.
  19. How odd. I was expecting something about besiktas being a bigger club.
  20. You win more though with a better attack. Ps don't think I didn't see the cliche.
  21. My point wasn't about ings. It may have gone over your head.
  22. I don't want to risk upsetting anyone but this is precisely why failing to strengthen our attack adequately is going to be a problem. We could have won this. With Ings in this team you would think we would have.
  23. Blackmore has already rubbished it.
  24. I'm amazed he's only 28. Seems like he's been around forever. What's gone wrong with him?
  25. Fair enough that's a reasonable comment. I agree.
