We haven't won the net spend trophy for a few seasons now. I want to see us reclaim what is rightfully ours.

Everyone knows he is leaving, it's not disappointing. What we need to do is focus on getting a decent replacement.

So whilst there continues to be a financial risk attached to relegation you would favour continuing in the premier league and not winning anything forever over winning something and getting relegated? And my question is would this still be your stance in a decade? What about if we spent another 20 straight years in the prem from now but still didn't win anything? Is there any scenario where you would view winning trophy as more important than continuing in the league?

I'm a lot more confident than I would have been had we got City, Chelsea or United. I think realistically we would have very little chance in a final against City but to get there would be amazing.

No one has questioned your desire for us to win a trophy, just your pretty strange view that staying in the premier league is preferable to winning a trophy. Would you have a time limit on it? Is there any point in the next decade that you would prefer winning something even if it resulted in relegation? If your answer is no then really what's the point of watching football and supporting a team? For some fans it feels like a perpetual mid table existence in the Premier league is what they want and IMO that's bizarre. Valuing your premier league place over winning a trophy is IMO mostly the preserve of modern football fans.

I reckon it's because people know he's capable of more. Someone like Jack Stephens is not great but also I'm not convinced he's playing below what he's capable of. Can't say the same for Redmond most of the time.

Really odd some people pretending that Redmond hasn't been largely crap for a number of seasons now. It's great he's doing well today and long may it continue but it doesn't invalidate previous dire performances.

This was the game where I have started to lose some faith in Ralph.

We've done nothing since going behind. It's now a major problem that Ralph can seemingly do nothing to influence a game in that scenario.

I called this game from the moment Brighton got their second. Utterly predictable and depressing.

If the argument is that racism needs removing quicker on social media then I can sign up to that campaign. That's not what's being asked for though. Any proposed solution to social media is completely unworkable, I'm yet to see a sensible solution.

Due to the moral panic, abuse on social media is widely publicised every single time there is any abuse of a black footballer on social media, even if the person doing it is a 14 year old spotty kid. That doesn't make it a racism problem any more than wider society. What it means is that everyone posts online and some people say disgusting stuff on social media. If once we get back into stadia we have hoardes of football fans chanting racist abuse at the likes of Rashford then I'll agree with you. That won't happen though because there's not a greater racism problem in UK football than society at large.

So frustrating how we put up a fight and then throw it all away in the second half. Depressing.

Yeah I have to agree. I think LGBTQ+ month is a stupid idea but as it doesn't affect me I simply ignore it, avoid anything advertising it, don't buy products to do with it etc. Others who love it are then free to go nuts over it if they like. It's not an example of anything going mad. It's got enough corporations signed up to it that it must attract and fair amount of support. Good luck to them.

I haven't really seen anything about it this year which is great and exactly how it should be.
