From what I ws told, with Ralph you're either in favour or put of favour and if you're out there isn't much in the way of communication to explain things.
-
Are you vouching for Steven Belbin then?
-
Dunno. I based my message on the person telling me who said it would be released at some point probably in the next couple of weeks and that was two weeks ago.
-
That would be insanely good to get that for him.
-
They probably got the info about it being released this week from me.

It's got nothing to do with education. Often the headlines decline to mention any details beyond the surname of a player. Unless your suggesting that I should be aware of every single player who may possibly have signed for every major men and women's team in the country, I don't see how I could be better informed. Besides, a number of people have now said the same thing has happened to them (and it didn't used to happen a few years ago) so it's clearly not just something unique to me.
-
The point is that fairly frequently it is impossible to distinguish it from the mens football because they are worded in an ambiguous fashion so you end up wasting time clicking on it and reading it. I'd rather they didn't do that but I suspect they do it in order to trick people into clicking on the articles.

No! Only player I heard about was Svanberg.
-
Who has Ben mee been linked with? He'd be a good signing.
-
I haven't heard from my friend in a while as he is away so I'm not implying any sort of knowledge I'm afraid.
-
OK so I wonder what else we will look to bring in after this cb? Rb cover and maybe that will be it for the defence then maybe a cm, an attacking creative midfielder and a striker. Maybe 4 more players? Is that realistic?
-
Just passing on what I was told. I don't think it's the case for all players but he doesn't seem to inspire the love and devotion that some of the top managers do.
-
I was told he isn't the best with man management and has his favourites but also isn't the best at communication.
-
He would be cover for Livramento.
-
Hasn't really "gone quiet." We sign a couple of players a few days ago and will most likely make at least one more signing this week.
-
I'm sure that many do, I just have no interest in hearing about them.
-
I was told that he wasn't very impressed by Ralph but liked the club.
-
Yep. And it's the same reason I have zero interest in any recording artists political opinions.

I've said more than once it's a minor irritant but has got worse as it's become more frequent. I agree, women's football can be enjoyable and it should be given a platform.
-
I think it's sensible from a marketing point of view to use the names and identities of mens teams etc. I just don't like the feeling of being duped with content and headlines online- also when records are compared with the mens team like they are in any way comparable.
-
I absolutely agree. Well said. A few years ago the BBC said they would start giving prominence to women's sport- something I don't really have a problem with. Prior to this I believe these types of headlines were cleared marked as women's football. Personally when I read a headline talking about City or Arsenal, the assumption used to be that they were talking about the actual men's teams and not the womens. Now every time I view similar headlines I have to pause to consider which teams they are discussing and if it's actually going to be something of interest to me. I'm not always aware of every single game that is going to be on every single weekend and prior to this agenda pushing from the BBC and Sky I didn't have to be in order to avoid small annoyances that I've already outlined. Like I mentioned, not the worst thing in the world but I'd prefer that they didn't do it because it's a relatively new practice.
-
I think Women's football is good and I'm fully supportive of it I just don't like misleading headlines on websites I frequent that waste my time.
-
Not every single week no I have other things in my life. That was also just one example and I plucked two random teams. I could have been West Ham and Arsenal for all I know.
-
No not always. I haven't always memorised the fixtures and it's not something I can always recall, particularly when I'm just lazily browsing a website. Like I said, not the worst thing in the world but it is a bit irritating when it's happened a number of times and as I suspect is being done deliberately. That's just one example as well, it's actually happened quite a few times with different types of headlines that's just one that sprang to mind. I didn't say anything about forcing it down my throat, calm down! You seem extremely perturbed by a harmless opinion.

I heard we were looking to sign Mattias Svanberg. Anyone know anything about him?
