  1. Oh dear how embarrassing for you always. You haven't read the posts...
  2. Seems like quite a few people saying they went and that they disagree with you. Someone above was saying you must have watched a different game I believe.
  3. But had Watford not scored their controversial goal last week would we have called pellegrinos tactics brave then?
  4. OK trousers. Others are saying they saw little difference between this change and similar changes in other games but as I didn't see the game its difficult to know what was true. Hopefully it is as you say and he won't go back to the silly changes that have characterised our season thus far. I'd really love to see a greater shape and purpose with this new signing and an understanding of what we are doing as I've had to shake my head during second half's this season as certain tactics and subs seem nonsensical as you said.
  5. Who said we played bad?
  6. So how do we explain all the other times this season where the exact same thing has happened where we have sat back on a 1-0 lead, handed the other team the initiative and promptly conceded and lost points? Are you saying that's the fault of the players and pellegrino has wanted to play attacking positive football all along and has simply been unable to get the players to agree?
  7. Glad to have your perspective as always trousers. Others saw it differently bit that's the beauty of football I suppose. At least we can all agree that we are thankful that we didn't concede a late goal this time. Let's hope we can close more games out and that will give us a chance of avoiding the drop.
  8. Indeed! My thoughts exactly. Thankfully we've also seen that false narrative challenged by a number of posters now who have been to the game and who share the frustration with the boufal substitution that handed the initiative to Watford. As I said, let's hope we build on this win against Brighton and if we go ahead I really hope we kick on and don't sit back and invite them onto us as we have seen on multiple occasions this year it's a recipe for disaster.
  9. Judt going to lead to disappointment. Let's pray we sign the bit of pace we need and then cross our fingers that this manager can somehow scrape us over the line to stay up.
  10. It's easy to simply stop posting you realise?
  11. Patently nonsense. If he had taken off soares who was struggling with an injury and replaced him with Yoshida and then either Tadic or long off for the new guy then there would have been very little comment. When we continually invite pressure onto us and then concede goals, lose and draw games from winning positions consistently then you can see why people get frustrated. Pellegrino could "win" as you out it by encouraging the team to keep the pressure up and go for a second or third goal rather than sitting back and trying to protect a slender lead which we invariably lose more often than not.
  12. Manager said he felt his hamstring but too early to say if it's serious or not. Should know more tomorrow apparently.
  13. Excellent news. You won't be missed if that'd your attitude.
  14. Just trying to counter the false narrative that everyone who went to the game is rabidly positive about all aspects of the game. It sounds to me like many concurred with the judgement of the radio commentators and were frustrated that certain tactical weaknesses remain. I'm glad that others were happy just to get the win though. Follow it up with a convincing win against Brighton and I may just agree.
  15. Really good game first half. I hope thy can hold on.
  16. I'm OK mate.
  17. Thanks for your perspective davefoggy.
  18. Hardly anyone has made negative points about our general play.
  19. There's been about 6 posts from people who clearly went to the game. About half expressed frustration at the substitutions which is what others were complaining about.
  20. Almost all of the posts from people at the game have been positive? Eh? And how do you know people were not posting after leaving the ground?
  21. What about the people who went to the game but disagree with you. Do they have an agenda?
  22. It's all the fault of the fans.
  23. We clearly aren't signing a cb. Not sure why so many people have been talking about it.
  24. Just about sums it up. The frustration as you point out is that the suspicion remains that with a half decent manager we would be much higher up the table.
