  1. Well you keep saying we have unrestricted immigration from the rest of the world. We don't.
  2. Totally this. I wish the leave campaign would emphasise the benefits of controlled immigration more.
  3. It's days like this that I question why I follow football. In many ways I hope it's the club who are in the wrong here and annoyed him to the point that he walked away because if it isn't then it would have to be that Ron is a douchebag and I really thought he was one of footballs good guys. Is there anyone left in football that is genuinely a man of their word?
  4. I stopped reading them after Toby last year. We had a load of people saying how fantastic it was last month with the Les Reid interview and I said at the time that it will not be good news until he signed and that I didn't want to see pr stuff from the club until that happened. Hopefully other fans will now start demanding less pr fluff and for us to stay quiet until it's done.
  5. It's not that much of a revelation. What he should have is she doesn't want to invest any more than she already has done abd that's completely fine. She wants us to live within our means and not splash the cash in the manner that Everton are about to do. If that means losing koeman who chases the money then fair enough.
  6. Sorry
  7. Who?
  8. Not sure we can blame him yet. He could have been messed around by the club for all we know. If he does go then it's very disappointing that it's Everton. I could understand if it was arsenal or a big club.
  9. Well other than reports that he got the players together abd told them to go.
  10. Or the other times they have done it like Clyne.
  11. I don't think many people would have complained if drinkwater had gone instead of Henderson.
  12. Wembley attendances are low because friendlies and qualifying tournaments are dull as dish water and Wembley is mostly overpriced. As someone else has said, look at the television viewing figures for major tournaments and the endless discussions online and through other media channels. It's a national obsession.
  13. That's fine that you have a problem with how the team are chosen but that doesn't mean you don't support then or actively want them to lose. I agree if some other players were chosen that I would be more excited but I still want then to win every tournament they enter. Why would you not?
  14. Nah just a bunch of loud mouths who think it's trendy to bash the England team. Every Englishman I know who follows football and isn't on a messageboard tends to follow their club team first but always supports England in the tournaments and wants them to do well. Thankfully I haven't met any offline football fan for whom world cups and euros are an irrelevance. Slag off the under performance, the team selection and the manager sure but actively wanting your national team to fail is just bizarre.
  15. Every tournament we get the same load of people saying how uninterested and boring it all is. Seriously if you don't care then just ignore it all. The vast majority of English football fans do care about the England football team.
  16. No he said the threat from Islamic terrorism is greater at the present time. Seriously you seem to be the only one who has trouble with understanding things. It really isn't that difficult.
  17. So he never said that did he. You aren't inventing things people have said and reading what you want to read rather than what has actually been written again are you?
  18. I'm guessing he means forster and jwp.
  19. I'm not sure what point you are getting at here other than staying the obvious again
  20. I wasn't comparing the act of terrorism. I was inventing a fictional act of terror to highlight how absurd it would be to attempt to prepare for every single terrorist event no matter how unlikely it would be.
  21. We are much more likely to see eu reform with a close vote. A decisive yes will maintain the current unfair status quo.
  22. Last I heard there was no contingency plan in place to combat an angry frenchman flying over from Calais in a hot air balloon. I was outraged. Quite clearly the sensible thing to do is to devote an amount of training to a threat proportional to how likely it is to happen. It would be impossible to train for every single conceivable act of Terror and a waste of resources.
  23. Fed up of videos and interviews like this. I'll celebrate when he signs a new deal.
  24. Pretty unlikely that they are the same people I would have thought.
