  1. No he said the threat from Islamic terrorism is greater at the present time. Seriously you seem to be the only one who has trouble with understanding things. It really isn't that difficult.
  2. So he never said that did he. You aren't inventing things people have said and reading what you want to read rather than what has actually been written again are you?
  3. I'm guessing he means forster and jwp.
  4. I'm not sure what point you are getting at here other than staying the obvious again
  5. I wasn't comparing the act of terrorism. I was inventing a fictional act of terror to highlight how absurd it would be to attempt to prepare for every single terrorist event no matter how unlikely it would be.
  6. We are much more likely to see eu reform with a close vote. A decisive yes will maintain the current unfair status quo.
  7. Last I heard there was no contingency plan in place to combat an angry frenchman flying over from Calais in a hot air balloon. I was outraged. Quite clearly the sensible thing to do is to devote an amount of training to a threat proportional to how likely it is to happen. It would be impossible to train for every single conceivable act of Terror and a waste of resources.
  8. Fed up of videos and interviews like this. I'll celebrate when he signs a new deal.
  9. Pretty unlikely that they are the same people I would have thought.
  10. What influence does the Queen have on any laws in this country?
  11. Even if we accept that the current British system was undemocratic, we could lobby Parliament and put political pressure on through petitions etc to get it changed. History shows that the government will often listen to the people. I would argue we would have vastly more of a chance of getting the change we want at a national level than we ever would within the EU. When does the EU ever listen to the will of the people?
  12. Nonsense. First past the post is certainly not perfect and personally I would prefer a different system but it absolutely is more democratic than the EU. To pretend otherwise does your argument no favours at all.
  13. Hold up so because in your view UK democracy is undemocratic, that means it is fine to accept the EU system which is even worse? It is your argument that is flawed.
  14. Can you kindly stop using we in that context? Otherwise I agree.
  15. Of course it's my opinion but it's also backed up by the stats at the time. I'd be interested to know why you think he was overrated which is why I asked.
  16. In what way he overrated? Whilst he was here he was the top midfielder in europe in his position. I can't see how he was anything less than our best player, certainly in midfield in his last season (and arguably before that.)
  17. They might well carry out some generic terrorist training. This particular exercise was looking at Islamic terrorism which statistically they are overwhelmingly more likely to be subject to than other types.
  18. If they are doing a terrorism training exercise involving Ira bombers then it may be a good idea to shout anti monarchy phrases beforehand so yes.
  19. Genius. Everyone who went to a convent school is a Christian. I'll be sure to let my uncle know next time I see him. It may be a shock, particularly because he has described himself as an atheist for the past 30 years (still attended his relative's nativity though) but of course attending a convent school is proof positive that you are a Christian. You've cracked it.
  20. Is it an opinion piece on Christ's teachings and how they have shaped her life?
  21. No idea but if hardly seems likely that he would do that.
  22. Or reading A beginners guide to your first Holy communion by A. Hitler
  23. He'll be back with a few diatribes in due course I would expect. "Are you saying all terrorists are Muslims? Even the ones during the crusades?" "Why am I the only one standing up for the moderate Muslims?" I don't actually know any Muslims but I'm the only one standing up for them! "
  24. It was a suicide bomb exercise. What other suicide bombers have there been than Muslim extremists?
  25. I fail to see why it warranted an apology since they were enacting a scenario where daesh were involved. That is what members of daesh shout before blowing themselves up.
