how does that explain an England manager picking him by this age?
-
remember how much more Theo had achieved by this stage
-
does anyone think he is not trying to get a premiership move? Of course he is and so he should.
-
think its very close between LBs - more form than ability.
-
any young player would rather be on liverpools bench than here
-
keeping current squad would be pretty good transfer window

Chamberlain to Arsenal or Liverpool £10m

The Sun have an article today - the top 10 players, under 20, from around the world, to make it onto the big stage in 2011. No 10 - Alex Ox-C http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/3326149/Top-10-talents-for-2011-Football-wonderkids-and-future-stars.html -
Adkins looking to make it a permanent deal for a 6 figure sum.
-
think people need to remember he has pace and a good creative touch, but is not the best finisher - if he was he would not be in league 1
-
funny reading that, honestly though you were talking about Hammond for the first paragraph, after watching him last game. Opinions!

OS has 9 games http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Appearances/0,,10280~201010280,00.html

Noone was first choice player and captain - on left wing I believe. Brighton's form has gone since they lost their winger - LuaLua. They would have been more desperate to fill that position so offer more, and likely to always start. We have Lallana on left - probably our strongest position. He would not have started over Lallana! Depends what happens with Puncheon and Ox-C whether we need first team winger
-
no, don't think he will - will keep steadier Hammond.
-
very true, it easy to be too simple - like Alpine yesterday saying all is relevant in a forward is goalscoring - that takes out like of Heskey (although knocked by many all England managers seemed to rate him) Kevin Davies, even Beardsley was never prolific
-
when he scored here he ran to our fans and did ****** sign - understandable when player has been getting stick but think most didn't know who he was and hadn't had any stick
-
thought Morgan looked more up for it, more involved and more creative than Hammond last game. Would start with him and Chaplow
-
quite possibly, shame as think Morgan is the best player (where have we heard this problem of best midfield players not giving best midfield!!??)
-
Agree. We shouldn't need anyone for a team to win this league, its getting this team performing regularly. We already have enough strength in depth in all positions - with possible exception of wingers, depnding on what happens with Ox-C and Puncheon. If everyone stays we will be hard pushed to improve squad in this window.
-
Perhaps expecting too much but was excited and impressed by his early performances, thought he was the tenacious CM we had been lacking, but unfortunately often been disappointed in him since. In maybe the partnership though. Thought Morgan was probably the best CM last game, but Hammond did well after Chaplow came on. Interesting and good dilemma for Adkins.
-
getting more involved. Think at times seems bit off the pace and game passing him by.
-
Don't think Hammond has found his best form yet
-
they can, Reid says he fully expects Noone to be with Brighton on 1st tho
-
fair enough, just glad you and Rory are in a small minority and Adkins rates him!
