Just to be clear for le god third.. After 6 games we had 4 points. I have been open above about period using for the comparison. No team in the whole league had less points than 4 ( 2 others also had 4). Since then we have the best record. I do rate Adkins as he has taken a team who were gaining points at the lowest rate to the one consistently gaining them at the highest rate. You seem to have forgotten that Adkins didn't come straight after Pardew as well. More than happy for these facts to be checked - I do make mistakes - as you clearly do as well.

This is factually rubbish. Adkins didn't come in after THREE games. lol. Have a look here, will accept yor apology if genuine. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/LeagueTable/0,,10280~20100915,00.html

cheer up!

Think I did it from the table from the weekend before the next round of fixtures - which you are right would have missed out the MK game. To be fair to Adkins he had only just walked in the door (although I would have said that was irrelevant if we had won ) The same for all teams though - last 15 games -almost exaclty a third of the season - we have been the best side in the division.
-
they do, if a lesser squad can do it then we should be able to. We should - should! - be able to walk to automatic promotion with today's squad.
-
totally agree
-
It has been (particularly with Guly and Chaplow) ever since Adkins has been manager - have a look at the "Adkins record" thread.
-
Call yourself a mod! Keep up - his first post on the thread - him being as only he can be!

try a football post. Yes this squad should easily be good enough to go up. Look at Brighton's forwards ffs - no where near the depth we have - even considering injury records etc. Add to that we are doing better than anyone else in the league. I hope we add to the squad - to improve the squad to make it closer to a certainty, but any fool can see this squad has the quality to do it (I see the problem now!)
-
Charlton's will be worse now! Brighton maybe hard to catch, but no reason why we can't start pulling away from the others at current rates
-
if we add - great, and sounds like they are trying, however - our form since Adkins has been here, and the fact that our forwards on our bench are better than everything Brighton can offer, shows we don't need, to strengthen - but yes please! Also dependson whether anyone leaves
-
no we don't!
-
think the squad should be - as has been shown recently - but pleased to hear about strengthening
-
this squad is good enough to win the league
-
points per game Saints 2.2 Brighton 2.06 Charlton 1.8 Cherries 1.66 Huddersfield 1.56 Sheff W 1.53
-
everything I have seen has made me believe real chance of automatic at least - not sure why others were even doubting play offs. Would have to really drop off.
-
turning us from the worst team in league to best in terms of points gained?
-
in summary - before he came in - worst points record in division, since -the best.
-
Adkins on solent - Nicola has been great and we already have made substantial bids for players.
-
Saints 33 Brighton 33 Charlton 27 Cherries 25 Huddersfield 25 Sheff W 23 Peterborough 22 all played 15, except Brighton and Huddersfield who have played 16.

look at that table: wonder how they are on the Brighton we are like Arsenal and will have this league won by 8 March Albion's forum doing?
-
38 - too old for winger I think
-
one nil down with only 37% possession (probably most of that their keeper time wasting as usual)
-
think I'd prefer Hud win than Wed
