he seemed to fade in some second half early in the season - but thuoght (apart from his shooting) he was playing pretty well. He tries to unlock a defence which means he often loses possession - I would rather someone who tries to make something happen even if it doesn't work all of the time than someone playing it safe

he mainly plays Seaborne

Adkins clearly sees him as first 11 CB - so can't imagine him wanting to lose him

don't think anybody suggesting Adkins should not be trying to improve current players every day, and improve the squad (balancing the team spirit etc) every window. Just that 1) We are performing well enough, if continued will earn automatic promotion 2) Already have strongest squad to cope with 2nd half of season

think if we sign someone it will be a decent championship player. Not one we particularly know or have been linked with (like Fonte was). Not convinced Adkins will feel we need a forward unless particularly impressive one for future comes available
