  1. not to duplicate rumours etc but here is your easy to find update on who our new manager will be! Not sure bookies track record on this? http://www.skybet.com/betting/football/manager-specials/t10002896.html Paul Hart favourite
  2. it would be a completely different thing to manage likes of Barnard, Lambert, Fonte, Jaidi than people you have had around you and built that siege mentality with
  3. it could do with a manager though
  4. this squad should be good enough to get us up if it performs.
  5. Cherries chairman reckons it would be a good move for Howe: "I am sure Eddie (Howe) will be linked with the post because he is a good prospect. Eddie and Jason (Tindall) have a proven track record with us. "If I were chairman of a club that had just got rid of their management team, they would be high on my list. We haven`t had any dialogue with Southampton and would have to cross that bridge if it came to it...' '...Like with the players though, we have to let people progress if the opportunities arise. It probably would be a step forward but we would be very disappointed if he took it if he were offered it."
  6. Dave Merrington on solent just saying how strange this is - 3 out of 4 in charge of first team going - why? You normally do a full clear out, or just manager.
  7. itchen shut so will be hard to see
  8. still, could be worse - no manager is better than Steve Cotterill!
  9. but not tomorrow?
  10. unfortunately, the most important thing will be who will get on with NC and work well with him. On face of it not many at all who would match Pardew, but lesser manager who is supported by Cortesse would probably be better for the club
  11. maybe better thought of by NC, just wondered if there was a possible link with the new manager - if one waiting
  12. why him tho?
  13. 1st team manager, coach, keeper coach - all sacked. Asst 1st team manager stays -why? Was their a split in the camp, or is he part of new guys plans?
  14. this is what guardian said
  15. Guardian A number of recently recruited figures to the coaching staff had resigned, reportedly citing discontent with Pardew and his closest staff. Giving the level of spending by the former West Ham United and Charlton Athletic manager, promotion is likely to be a minimum prerequisite for his successor.
  16. prefer him in CM
  17. not one normally to criticise without full info - but timing is strange, I can only think two things: 1) a row yesterday -perhaps over transfers 2) someone else being available If not why give a window to Pardew? Merrington saying on radio someone must be lined up
  18. even if someone "special" lined up - after 4-0 win and 24 hours left of window?
  19. didn't see yesterday but seen every other game this season - just don't understand the sitck he has been getting. v good ball control and always looking to try to open up the defence
  20. so I have learnt that Pardew should ignore what players say and Doctors advise about injuries and look to the forum for someone who had a similar injury from skiing and they will be able to give you the best advice, I have also learnt that if you try really really hard you can turn every single bit of news to a reason to have a go at the club.
  21. what was this about again?
