Carlisle don't play until 16th. Would they want to play him anyway if he has already agreed to play for another team - no. If we want him, and he wants to come - that date is irrelevant

don't see why that would delay it - he could easily be released, or even agreement reached before that date

or wait until end of season and get him cheaper?
