  1. The "Don't you wish this was St Marys" stadium.
  2. its a little bit of "they would say that wouldn't they?" -they are keen to get as much money as possible for their players so can't sound too desperate. Also their owners have had a solution days away for three months now.
  3. Palace just announced didn't have enough cash to pay players this month.
  4. think I was thinking about the summer one when sky were talking about it and thought it likely to be same- suppose this window is generally a lot quieter.
  5. He went to Millwall in Sept in loan window, has played for them ever since and now had deal made permanent (guessing part of loan deal?) Most of his career was at Millwall previously anyway - not sure why this is big deal??
  6. would like them to fail on and off!
  7. fair enough. Can't remember the stat but something like 95% of the whole transfer window activity is in the last 6 hours (made up the figures but something like that!)
  8. got good deal from Wilton carpets in Hedge End - smaller shop opposite post office. Would recommend using s/emp carpet fitter and them to supply underlay - much better deal than all in package from big shops.
  9. so what?! Two teams have announced their current loan signings have been extended - hardly earth shattering ambition leaving us behind! Pardew has said Antonio is likely to be staying.
  10. he's been with Millwall 3 months
  11. All 3 signings by our rivals are players they already had on loan, so no different than likely Antonio extension and the Trottman would have been if his club agreed.
  12. shorter season - pro rata less points
  13. played in 4th qual round in October http://www.eastleigh-fc.co.uk/dover-athletic-eastleigh-241009
  14. He had joined us before Eastleigh played their 1st round tie - not sure about prelims tho
  15. The premier league management is made up of the other clubs - including their relegation rivals and teams owed money by them, they are already giving the league a bad name internationally (Lens), economically (Inland Revenue winding up order) and reputationally (Storrie's criminal investigation, lack of clarity on owner). If may put of players from joining the premier league if they do not think they will be paid. I think the prem will have little sympathy with them at the moment. put this on thread on main forum but probably better here

  17. As they didn't sell anyone before today does that mean they decided against asking for dispensation for early sales or did the FA turn it down? I had read the FA were happy.
  18. perhaps if we signed him we could offer him use of the clubs legal team to sue skates for the money owed?
  19. was Hartley their RB?
  20. not heard of penalty for late payment of wages?
  21. SSN full article just after 2 with financial expert etc
  22. radio saying players not paid and have 2 hours left to get it cleared today
  23. 100% for restarting as AFC Portsmouth so far - see we do have a heart and still want local rivals - just as the level they deserve!
  24. Perhaps the simple question is A -Do you want skates to pull through and be competitive in the football league (below saints) B - Or would you prefer them to fall as Luton? (or any scenario that is worse) B for me.
