fair enough - opinions and all that, but totally disagree his switching of play is a central tactic for us.
-
Scheiderlin played well - very good range of passing again.
-
target reached by end of December (7 points from play offs). Makes me think, if Pardew went to Markus/Nicola now and said "We hoped to be within 7 points of play offs by the end of January - and then said we would look towards the play offs. We hoped to get good crowds of about 20,000. It is now the end of December, we have reached the points target and have attracted 30,000.. ..lets talk about the January transfer window budget...."

just keep adding WON 3-1 at the top each game, won't go far wrong.
-
Huddersfield won it three times in a row, Wolves twice in row - since you won it. The FA Cup is a relevant triumph. But no-one is interested, or impressed with your triumphs in a by-gone age, in a different game, unless you are in your 80's -then I hope you enjoyed it!

Saints winning. Good crowds Fans happy. Good chairman.
-
think he should do the honourable thing, resign and they can get tony adams in to save them!
-
it narrows down the likely premiership managers tho. Would hate for Avram Grant to have problems just when he gave skates a chance
-
other forums are saying the brothel is in some place down south called Horton Heath? Anyone else heard?
-
Exeter sold 1115 tickets only with 70 remaining.
-
imagine at some stage a manager will be sacked/not sacked, or player sold/not bought and we will moan. up until now I couldn't wish for better
-
didn't notice both from same poster, guess someone doesn't like the new regime!
-
no idea, sounds strange and wrong but all I know is what I read in a bizarre column by Murray saying he missed Lowe.
-
and you know that, how?
-
think you are missing the point. Club want to attract kids - future supporters to the family centre - and so are doing a promotion. most paid more for their ticket, myself included but don't begrudge filling the family area. Are you aware for instance the club often give free tickets to local teams? Its not rotten to the core!
-
its clear when we started! btw - prediction thread I went for 7th!
-
think my season starts here thread has been proven right!
-
are Hull likely to be in relegation battle with skates?
-
don't start using facts on here!
-
Think Tisdale would have been better choice than many other put forward, however Pardew is much better choice. Don't think I ever said play off highly unlikely? Think my start of season prediction was something like 8th - always thought they were possible. Think you are confused.
-
agree, not disputing that at all. Point I was failing to make was compared to saints managers few have had the relatively quick impact - Ball comes to mind. Not saying he is the most impactive any club has had.
-
think the term legend is very over used. In my mind I will only have a handful of players/managers in my lifetime who I would see as Saints legends. Certainly Pardew isn't one (...yet?) Lawrie is only one I would consider. I think Pardew is doing remarkably well and can see him overtaking likes of Hoddle and Strachen in recent years. Managers leave lasting memories - usually when they go off the boil (WGS) or walk out/get sacked.
-
not really. none here.
-
when did a manager last change mentality and build at team as quickly, and, so far, as successfully?
-
well there are 3 of you - have one each!
