this one was posted before the result - the last 13 will look pretty good even if we lose, but I will probably be having drink then sulking tonight if we do lose, rather than posting! Can't see how it is rubbing anyone's nose in anything, surely all on here want us to win.

I don't know whether I should respond but I will. I am not going to comment on the particularly comments made by two posters on this thread but hopefully this general comment will reassure them. The only "agenda" I had posting these form summaries is that I cannot remember such a run for a long time. The league table makes for depressing reading still but this shows that at least the last couple of months have had excellent results. I enjoy seeing these results. There have been numerous comments from others on these threads saying the same. There was no subliminal message. I do not think all is rosy. We are in relegation zone of league 1! The team is not perfect and I am far from convinced this form will continue - another reason for enjoying it while it lasts? I do not think we will win the FA Cup. I do not think we will make play offs this season - although it is certainly possible. I genuinely do believe that you should be able to enjoy a run such as our current one - if not why support saints? You only live once and I know lots of happy people who don't follow football - if you can't get pleasure from this sort of run when will you? I am not going to answer the personal insults except to say why get so up tight and personal, on a forum for fellow saints fans when several are just trying to appreciate a good run? If we win tonight I look forward to a last 13 games thread.

lol! Don't get personal just deal with the posts. Look up the word you are using and see that it doesn't fit. Ignore the threads enjoying this run if it does upset you so much you have to insult others. Its not what this forum is for.

why lessen the joy about worrying how it will last? I to see the flaws in our performances and think we need to improve/strengthen to make us the true force in this division - but that doesn't diminish from the pleasure I have at seeing a 12 game run like this - the likes of which I can't remember for a long time. agree. Fact we are mortgage free gives the same impact of annual investment. Think the quotes were about making the business more sustainable but realising to climb back to prem will take annual extra investment. Think he will keep putting money in but not in silly spending sprees
