on what basis? Think you are filling in gaps.
-
its much simpler than that. most processes in law or regulations, or even within a company have a right of appeal. The FL said we could appeal. Now they are using the change of licensing as a heavy handed way to remove that right.
-
No-one else will be able to complete the deal for weeks.
-
His interview on South Today basically said one of us will compromise. If one party is saying this not the other its normally clear you are about to back down! He said it won't stop deal and would buy the club.

What is to stop another consortium paying for exclusivity?
NickG replied to Colinjb's topic in The Saints
only if Fry has asked for it, its not just standard practice. -

guess that call would not come out of the blue and would give Pinnacle time to react. Actually there isn't some ongoing right to get exclusivity for that fee - it was something asked for by Fry, so until he asks for it guess it ain't going to happen -
Joint Administrator Mark Fry of Begbies Traynor has issued the following statement in response to today's Football League meeting... We were advised by the Pinnacle Group last week that they needed confirmation from the Football League that the notice of withdrawal for membership under its insolvency policy would be withdrawn. The Football League has insisted that in order to consent to a notice of withdrawal they require amongst other things an undertaking that the Football Club will not appeal the decision to deduct ten points next season. The proposed purchaser considered that the appeals procedures set down, not just by the Football League, but also by the Football Association are there to be used when there is a legal question that surrounds the decision and in accordance with the principles of natural and fair justice, the football club should be left with the opportunity to appeal if it so chooses. To remove that right to appeal in return for the notice of withdrawal is an incredible abuse of power. This has left the Administrator trying to conclude a sale in a situation where the buyer is unable to reach an agreement with the Football League. The Administrator understands that the buyers are currently considering this matter and hope to have further information during the course of tomorrow. In the meantime, the exclusivity period has expired and the Administrators have reopened discussions with other parties.

-

-
as I type this it is 7.57! someone is mischief making!

NP has only been in mirror I have heard from Solent, Echo and someone within club that candidates are KK and a n other, Solent saying KK first, the other two saying he is 2nd
-
Ten points isn't huge, therefore i feel there maybe some argument but eventually the FL will not want us to go out of business and lose a huge legal case nor will pinnacle want to walk away from this big investment over 3 wins and a draw.

It was something along the lines of we spoke to MLT last night to clarify the manager situation and....
-
even more confident after the MLT update on radio this monring.
-
true. I would be happy with MLT takeover happening on its own - more than we could have hoped for 6 months ago. Top manager and 10 points would be a bous tho!
-
see my solent thread as they asked this question!
-
Solent just said they spoke with MLT last night and; Wotte will remain manager whilst takeover talks continue KK remains first choice their lawyers are very confident the 10 point deduction should be recinded hence the FL asking them to withdraw right to appeal
-
cheat = outside of the rules what we did was within them.
-
and even more confident that it won't be Jackson

100% that we will be bought before season by decent owner 95% that it will be pinnacle 85%, actually feeling more positive 89%, that it will be in time for SFC's staff pay day on Thursday.
