If MLT wasn't linked to Pinnacle what would you think now?

does it matter? Would have thought if it was Leon he would have told us by now! -

they are more advanced than anyother bid, Fry preferred them all along. We can't compare so wouldn't say they are the best -

they have paid up more than anyone else - said to be in excess of £1/2m so far -

I'd be thinking -don't know much about them but appear to be coming up with money to save the club so give them a chance -
only post info when I know it to be true, 100% so far, you?
-
I know someone central to a lot of issues in the club and have put quite a bit on here before press etc. I have spoken to them several times about this, thinking they just wanted to protect info. I am now happy they don't know. It is being kept incredibly tight.

that was what I was trying to say (probably badly!) he clearing is considering him or would have got rid of rumour. Not sure or convinced he is first choice. About only thing I have heard from the good source recently was that KK was being considered but MLT was leaning towards another manager. Who knows!
-
sorry, tried reading your post again, without moving my lips, but they couldn't help mouthing "what a f***ing halfwit" as I read your words!
-
are you saying this is a lie?
-
not heard that quote. Did you not think it was an easy and obvious time, with interviewing pursuing manager line, for him to deny it?
-
not panic time yet - NP was only appointed this week last year for Leicester
-
maybe one of us is a dumbwit but are you saying they are the same person - as they only have different first and surnames?
-
don't think he said for advice in this one. point I was making the guy was asking him about KK for manager, he could easily said "no" or "it was only advising etc not to be manager" - particularly as he is aware of the publicity following the meeting. He did say I have spoken to a number of people and want to get this right, just this one was photographed - but this was an obvious time for him to clarify/deny it if he is not considering KK for manager - he didn't. Not saying he is going to be manager, but think, from that interview, and TL's and Crouch comments - he is definately being considered.
-
nor are Robert and Ben??
-
when directly asked, twice, MLT refused to rule out KK as manager
-
think he is saying Fry is lying about receiving a deposit from pinnacle
-
1) he has come up with money -others haven't 2) MLT knows more about him than us and is happy
-
still sounded confident. refused to rule out KK as manager hopefully within 48 hours but you never know with lawyers the fl have sent us the new contract they wish us to sign and its with lawyers
-
MLT still sounded confident on SSN live minute ago - but hopefully within 48 hours but you never know with lawyer!

Dear All forum users, and fans alike It's now the early hours of Tuesday morning, and before we sign off for the night, I thought you might appreciate some clarity, though appreciate that most of the fans who use this medium might not read this until tomorrow (by which time, this could well have been superseded). Clearly the Football Leagues position as announced this evening is of disappointment. However, discussions are on-going seeking to resolve this as quickly as possible. The League have a duty and responsibility for all of its members, so they have a different opinion to my own concerning certain aspects of our license (I only care about Southampton Football Club, whilst respecting other members in the right manner). The Administrators have made their position clear in their statement this evening, and it is pleasing to see that their views (which are totally independent to our own) are along the same lines as ours. I am still awaiting information from the League concerning their position and I should hope to have this without delay. This is not something I (nor my colleagues) can influence – rather one of those things which will happen as part of a normal process. We are not at loggerheads with the League. I have made this clear via other mediums this evening - we are working together for an acceptable solution to an issue, so please treat the League with the respect that they deserve. I spoke with 3 officials from the League today and whilst the content of those discussions will always remain confidential, I can assure you that the League are working hard to find an acceptable solution to this issue. Finger pointing and blame culture isn't going to resolve this. Rationale thinking and adult debate will, and common sense, law and the rule book will ensure a mutually agreeable outcome. I can only imagine too well how deeply frustrating this is for all of you - none more so than myself, but we remain totally committed and confident that our takeover will be concluded shortly, thus enabling us to get on with the important challenge ahead, putting Southampton Football Club back on the map for the right reasons. Please also spare a thought for all the staff at the Club who are working in difficult circumstances – they are top of our list of priorities, and so they should be. Thank you for your continued support, and I truly hope that these final hurdles will be out of the way without further delay. With kind regards Tony

most of that is based on nothing. Re your preseason moan - NP was only appointed by Leicester this week a year ago - they did ok in this division.
-
not sure they have - we are being sold

there are comments on most threads saying that if someone else turns up with £500,000 then they now get exc bidding rights. That is not the case. There were several bidders talking the talk and Fry sought more commitment and requested the non-returnable deposit. Now that period has elapsed he is at liberty to ask for it again however this is unlikely because; 1) Pinnacle would likely refuse and say we are about to complete 2) Fry would not ideally want another bidder as Pinnacle are not only weeks ahead of anyone else but have always been his preferred bidder. It is not a right for any of the bidders to demand exc in return for the deposit just because he entered into that agreement once.

he owes us nothing. If he brings us some investment, MLT and decent management we all will be behind him 100%. Its just your curiosity! If it completes in matters not he remained quiet, if it doesn't he is history anyway
