ponty, thanks but could you remove bottom option - makes it seem like if you go for others you are not open to backing new owner - guess all of us are.
-
did it work? Come on 4 posts and no name?!
-
not that I would try and influence your views but.. Tisdale was on the radio recently talking about us being a great club who should be in the premiership. I feel Paul Tisdale is just the sort of bloke to give us a fresh start; articulate, listen to post match in http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/e/exeter_city/7976044.stm product of our youth system only 36. learnt management trade in non-league with Bath Uni- 4 promotions in 5 seasons his side plays attractive football losing in play off final in first season at Exeter won plays off in 2nd season - despite having to sell many players another promotion in his 3rd season definately on the way up, no failure/sacking baggage like most managers on of sky sports top ten football league managers (list before much of this good season) http://www.skysports.com/interactive/top_tens_story/0,25722,15881_4214437,00.html A young, fresh, modern manager for us to unite behind? Has proven himself at a lower level but even there didn't experience failure.
-
I left Wotte as one of the options;)
-
he had to sell a lot of players to balance the books, spent little, team play attractive football and win!
-
mods, do a poll, Tisdale landslide, echo pick it up and the momentum builds!
-
I am more than happy for the new regime/MLT to decide the way to go for the manager for next season, but wondered what posters preferences would be? Realistic options? Wotte Tisdale Dowie Adams MLT any other old boys? Dodd, Benali, Flowers in some combination? My vote would go for Tisdale
-
have you seen this? http://asf.narrowstep.tv/mcp?psid=86165582&ref=0&chid=977&pid=3346&vid=69175095&br=400&tid=1&void=175029&fab=0 you could have it open in another window while you F5!
-
perhaps he could give us a few more lines soon? Paragraph once a week?
-
and remember it was two days after the schoolboy organising it had been in paper saying the protest was against silly decisions like appointing Wotte! Not going to be feeling the love of the fans protesting was he?
-
it gets better with every watch!
-
good. As long as no-one quotes post 8 on this thread I think it will die away, if they do people will watch that again!
-
you should let this thread fade away!
-
if it is someone who; 1) wants the club! 2) came up with the goods and saved us 3) has convinced MLT that he/she is here for the long-term and return to premiership 4) has £100,s millions and is will to invest as stated Then I cannot imagine being more or less please whoever it is
-
sure he does, but its not fighting talk for it - it appears genuine and professional
-
will pizzas improve? think you used a good description of Wotte during this period - dignified.
-
my first wish is for a new unified owner - we appear to have that we have new figure head to unite behind in MLT they say they are clearing debts - if this is the case it will always be easier for the club to afford players etc - of course we don't know details/structure of this they have already talked about inputting cash for team affairs - this will be new. I don't think we are expecting Man City levels but until we hear more others guesses are no more deluded than yours. I think they have already said they have accessed and agreed investment for 5 yr plan to premiership
-
Beckham?
-
wasn't someone else trying to link up with Beckham?
-
actually think Wotte has come across well over this period and seems a steadying influence for players etc. still think fresh start needed.
-
new manager is biggest and most interesting decision - more than players coming/going or who owner is
-
expect so, just hope they hurry up and agree terms so we can stop paying them
-
if you court media - expect to be judged by how you look on it.
