Wotte is talking to Pinnacle today, sounds like he is going with him saying he understand they may want their man - not fighting for the job talk! Confirmed offers Surman and DMG -talking to Pinnacle today. Will off-load Rasiak and Saga cheaply.

thought about that - but it was too easy!
-
as the echo see this, thought I would bump my campaign!
-
although I agree about clean sweep etc and would welcome a manager building his team, if we did hang onto DMG he could well be the best forward in that league. He had a pretty good season - it wasn't his fault Lowe/JP/Wotte used him instead of Saga/Rasiak/John. Watford away he was both the most skilled player on the pitch and the hardest working. He did disappear some games, but scored quality goals. Its a lot to expect from player in first full season when played half up front on his own and some in midfield. He would be a loss.

looks like mix including many own grown and non-league - cracking photo of ex-saint! http://www.leedsunited.com/page/PlayerProfileIndex/0,,10273,00.html

all clubs are selling clubs except Man City!
-
choose a fair period then
-
I ignored this assuming it was one you had spoken about here; http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showpost.php?p=316631&postcount=2

think Shearer / Dowie only needed 5 points from their time in charge, 8 games to stay up - they got 4 out of possible 24 (just in case anyone can't work out 3x8!)
-
all fair and right. Unless you want to start going on to say Accrington Stanley are better than Chelsea -50 years is good period.
-
who would use pinnacle, local company and give them this much trust and responsibilty - rather than their accountants/lawyers from london?
-
think Barry is being unfairly criticised. Most player chase money - he is no worse. He may not have an offer from a Champions League side. His choice maybe Villa or City. City may not be champions league but they have amuch higher chance of cup success and being towards top of league next year than villa. If they sign a couple more defenders they could be very good.
-
I think both Tisdale and Dowie could be easily attracted here, depending on other offers. These are the only names I can think of so far who are both realistic and fairly popular. Who would you prefer? Think Tisdale would be a better long term option and may bring about more success. Dowie would offer higher profile, attract proven players and may give quicker return.
-
Tisdale had to sell players, no money to spend, played attractive football in low division and got promotion
-
think that shows it is going through and this period is genuinely for contracts etc
-
http://www.saintsweb.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=12738 go own, keep it going!
-
those at the club will know whether there is any realistic chance of these players staying - if they and their agents are dead set that they won't play in this division then best get rid and let the (new?) manager build his team. Would be nice to think a new owner and manager could persuade them to stay but we all know players follow the lure of money and higher divisions.

go, bump my Tisdale campaign thread!

this is the unfair post. As said above, many times, if he puts himself in the media he should expect to be judged on what he says and does. His take over of Bournemouth was a joke. He gave this interview. He started the comments listed above that makes us all doubt his credibility. He even knows this forum so knows an article in the echo will be discussed here. It is fair game, if you don't like how he is being seen perhaps your concerns should be aimed at him and his performance rather than posters on here?
-
all I ever heard was it referred to as pinnacle, people who I would expect to hear don't know.
-
was bizarre that he was out of contract last year, we clearly didn't want him, got him to sign a contract, loan him out so we don't pay him, get a loan fee then sell him for £400,000!
-
I would extend that to football fans rather than just us.
