The Sun pools prediction thing yesterday -had all 10 pundits go for home win and their preditced score was 3-0. The only 3 goal margin they are predicting in about 7 leagues they predict.

Lawrie Mac wrote this in his Echo column, just after he appointed NP "I was speaking to Alex Ferguson on Tuesday morning as he waited to board his flight to Lyon and his comments were a good appointment". Story I was told was the Fergie was literally going on plane, Lawrie said about the appointment and said what do you think. Got the above response and Lawrie came off telling others he would use it as an endorsement of their choice. Fergie may have said elsewhere he rated him, but thats the one I heard joked about. (not saying Fergie doesn't rate him or slagging him off -just was recounted to me at the time as funny story about LMc openly playing up a passing comment!)

Thought Cork had his worst game for us on Saturday at RB, and he looks good as CB playing it out, however have same concerns about missing some precence at CB

just looked at league table, although hopefully for NP they will come up, I don't think being on same points as Millwall, one ahead of MK Dons, two ahead of Peterborough in 3rd tier quite compare to those days above to say they have nver had it so good!

Pearce can't play. So would be Lancashire and Perry -do think both of those are decent CBs - when they have a lump alongside them

who knows, I have seen good and bad in both of them during their time here and my gut feeling is they aren't much different in ability.

not really comparing like with like, NP has players like Oakley, Clemence, Howard, Dyer, Fryatt, Dickov -who we probably wouldn't afford and are playing in a lower league! Best of luck to NP tho

I missed the post where anyone said being negative on here effects the club to -when was it? Doubt if it can be proven. If you are going to get uptight about posters at least read what they say! Where is there a post when I have said it was the fans fault? you are making up an arguement:rolleyes: Your 2nd paragraph is just as silly - my posts were saying it is ridiculous to blame fans -particularly positive ones -for the club's demise. Where have I said anything bad about fans in St Marys. Will try and make it simple so you can't find silly things that are not there. It was not me who said negative people are killing the club. Snowball added, although its clearly nonsense, that positive fans are ruining the club. ALL I said was - "how can being positive ruin this club? Or even play an active factor in its demise? It clear how being negative could have a contributory factor, but being positive -no." Note I only said contributory factor -by that meaning things like dropping gates, less revenue etc. There is no attack on fans. it is only a fact if Lowe was the only one who was going to cut the playing staff. again, agree with most of that -what I don't know is whether (nor does anyone else on here) whether we would still have the bigger names or won more games if Lowe wasn't here. Without knowing that we can say he is the sole cause.
