Guly 19 league starts, (sub 11) goals 8 Antonio 14 league starts, (sub 14) - goals 3
-
wrong. try google
-
you do realise this isn't the last game of the season?
-
Don't think Antonio is any better than Forte and N'Guesson - his only experience other than non-league was here. Expect if club wanted him on loan rather than those two could easily sorted loan. There is not way that Peterborough would have sold CMS to us for anywhere near the figure you mentioned - or even double it. Doubt CMS would have signed any way he has made it clear he wants to look at higher level options at end of season and knows a potential premier league side wants him. Think you are getting bit carried away with fantasy football!
-
not far off this side Saints: Davis, Richardson, Jaidi, Fonte, Dickson, Chamberlain, Schneiderlin, Chaplow, Lallana, Guly, Lambert. which won 6-0 away
-
think I would swap Barnard for a fit Morgan or Lallana!
-
control the controllables?
-
think my post 27 indicates that if midfield is ok Barnard is not needed
-
Kelvin is typical of a great player at this level who is not appreciated
-
would be a shame. But there are still a lot of options. Do you really think we could have / should have added to this list? Have a look at Brighton's squad.
-
got me excited that they were losing a key player - until I googled him and found out he had never played for them!
-
think only position it could be argued that we are lacking cover is CM. That is debatable as not sure how many first 11 standard players other squads would expect. Chaplow was a signing all on here applauded and added to Morgan and Dean provides quality and experience in CM. Stephens has been added to that, although not seen a lot to get too excited. It is silly to have 5 players for each position.
-
can't see how anyone says players got in on hype. The vote was by league 1 players. If anything a jumped up youngster linked to big clubs is likely to get less votes! The opposing teams players think Kelvin is better than Brown, that Ox-C was better than other wingers they faced etc.

Our best league run this season was 5 conseq games end of Dec into January Huddersfield W 4-1 Exeter W 4-0 Daggerham W 3-1 Oldham W 6-0 Nott C D 0-0 Not bad 5 games run. Would you take similar for the next 5? Guess the link to our best run this season and this thread?!
-
Think these are about right.. and these an over reaction!
-
If we don't go up it won't be because we don't have enough forward cover with Lambert Guly Connolly Barnard Ox-C Lallana Forte N'Guessan Doble!!
-
I reckon we will do it. Was just looking at scores I could see happening but going against us to see how hard / easy it will be. Can't see any worse than that and we only miss out by one point so hopefully should be ok!
-
Guly 10 in 23 starts (many in midfield), Connolly, Forte, N'Guesson all offer decent cover. Would much rather he was fit but should not be an excuse for finishing this off
-
there's young CB - 24 approaching good age for that position. Big - 6ft, pretty quick. Not bad passer with left foot, solid in air. Prone to odd mistake but gaining more experience. Captained a league side when only 20. Decent shout for the future.

um, it was more Roger's comments about what planet you are on etc that was wrong. I noticed and commented on a tactical change which helped. Roger missed it and got arsey but hey never mind we won. -
just googled "WIFM" and its an acronym for the selfish view of "What's in It For Me". Talks about customers not caring about a company just how they can benefit from the product! Totally wrong to use that. Only couple of dozen people on here would know what it means, ,most will think WTF does that mean. As said before, personally think it sounds really naff anyway.
-
Remember that Barnard couldn't get a game when Guly was starting up front and only got his chance when Guly was injured. Lambert with Guly or Forte or Connolly not bad options. Lallana is by far bigger miss but hopefully have him now for rest of the season

Fonte started the game partnering Radhi Jaidi in the centre of defence, but the Tunisian was substituted after just over half an hour with Dan Seaborne coming on to try and nullify the threat of Jo Kuffour. Fonte had words of support for Jaidi. “Because he’s (Kuffour) quick and he’s always on the shoulder, the manager decided we needed a little bit more pace and I think that’s why they took off Radhi, but he has been great for us,” he explained. “It was just a tactical move. Roger let me know if you want anymore post game analysis.
