Lee Barnard meanwhile, is now recovering at home after he was stretchered off with an injury in the second half and will be assessed again later on in the week by the Saints medical staff.

Nigel Adkins said it was a 'judgement call' to leave Adam Lallana out of the side on Saturday. The manager rested the midfielder for the 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers, and believes it will give Lallana a better chance of featuring in the last five games of the campaign. "It's been one of those where he has a little niggle in the groin area, it's not a full tear in there, but there is obviously something going on in there,"

would it be cheaper and quicker without picture? Could have option 1 - saints flag with his name, but then approach Nicola and say we would like to add his image (ML's) and would they help with cost of image, extra cost and maybe logistics?

if we go up automatically he will have done a good job. -
tried to do it on the pessimistic side of what I though realistic (does that make sense?!) think we will do it, as can't see it being much worse than that - and sure if we went into Plymouth / Wallsall needing two wins to guarantee it we would not be too upset - and that is what above gives

as some such as alps were concerned that it didn't fairly reflect Posh post Fergie, their post Fergie stats: He took over with them 4 points behind us, with a game in hand. Since then they have performed worse than Brighton, Huddersfield, Saints, and MK, they are now 3 points behind having played game more -

Saints 1 V 0 Bristol Rovers, post match sighs of relief..

Butterfield's first half was probably the worst 45 he has had for us. -

I don't think we played great and glad we are efficiently grinding out wins. Happen to disagree with Um's assessment on Dickson, but it appears several do and have him as mom. Also happen to think that tactical change when Jaidi went off went some way to improving the game for us yesterday. Agree Lambert missed a sitter, not said he had any others he should have scored with - but were several opportunities when he has scored in other games. I don't have a problem with yesterday, do you? -

by his standards - header was easy, others were similar to goals he has often scored. are you not enjoying this season? -

reckon Lambert had probably easiest chance he has had this season and about 4 others would expect him to score with. -

but put Rooney behind striker or wider (as Fergie does) and he does ok! Agree Guly did best upfront with Rickie -

why have people kept saying we are not playing well enough to go up? Since then we have moved up to 2nd and retained it. We have played well enough to go up. The table doesn't lie. The question is will we continue to play well enough! -
worst case, we need 12 points from - Brighton (A), Hartlepool (h), Brentford (a) Plymouth (a) Wallsall (h) to guarantee auto or we have guaranteed shot at play off would have taken that a few months ago
-
and we only need one point to finish above cherries!
-
they also have a thread about should they miss out on their undefeated home record and let Huddersfield win to overtake us?! Get it even less than the cherries "rivalry"
