If you mean the left side played well vs posh I think you are very much mistaken. Seaborne and harding had a mere. Harding was awful for the second goal and what the hell was seaborne doing for the penalty. Thought fonte played well and has too much to do when seaborne is playing.

No but its also clear that morgan has far better technical ability than prutton imo. Im thinking aswell of prutts miss at wba away. lol

I really dont agree on that mate sorry. I think his positioning would have been a lot better than cborne. He wouldnt have given away stupid penalty either for me. Seaborne had a shocker.

That music was nail biting. Theres been a goal at the dell.......... Was always usually matty who scored. However, that was a long time ago and now full match commentary is the least fans expect. Other teams seem to get better local coverage. Also some of the music was awesome at half time and full time etc. Was thats just the way it is by bruce hornsbee and the range, and then they played at full time (music was my first love and it will be my last) with the really quick music. Can you remember the other legendary song they played around the 1990 period? at the end of game? Now they play that really wimpy music at the start and finish. Not sporty at all.lol

The only thing I would say to that is how much of the ball did we have at posh or last week vs carlisle? We couldnt retain it. They both work hard but havent got the ability to hold onto the ball and keep it. One of them for me with morgan.

For me magilton was better. His range of passing was better and he scored goals. Like vs pompey in 96 twice! Think he scored 7 in one season. Oakley was average for me.

I agree but think seabornne isnt good enough. Happened to many times now. We need a new centre back like jaidi but a bit more mobile and younger. Id prefer martin now to seaborne.

If fit: Davis, Butterfield, Jaidi, Fonte, Dickson, OXC,Morgan, Chaplow,Lallana, Ricky, Barnard. Subs;New goalie, Guly, Connolly, Martin, Harding, Nguessan. Think gulys better than barnard but has been a bit off recently and just have an inkling.

I feel that if he had played at posh we would have won. He is slow but he is very good at getting his position right so he isnt exposed. He hardly gets booked and his temperament is great. Feel that seaborne is just not good enough and we probably need a quicker stronger centre back as we dont want to rely on jaidi for ever as he is getting older. Fonte for me is not a first defender but a defender who cleans up like a claus or dave watson. Fonte is much more effective with jaidi. Any thoughts guys?

Does anyone know if morgans fit for tuesday? If he is what would youre middle 2 be? For me would be in this order: 1. Too slow for me but good to have around and did make gaol at exeter and posh. Without morgan we struggled with ball retention and posh and at home to 10 man carlisle. I feel he needs to be recalled if fit. What do you guys think?

Is it just me or are bournemouth and portsmouth dominating coverage of radio solent now? We are always third to be previewed, can understand that for league position but we have the most fans and feel that also the other 2 clubs have loads more coverage after match too. I started going to football in 86 and this is the worst radio coverage weve ever had imo. We had harrys game the phone in and great coverage in late 90s. Was a pre match phone in. Now we dont even have an after match phone in! Also we had radio southampton and great coverage with jimmy ball etc and commentary from case and gordon watson. Then had mark dennis etc on radio hants. I feel there is a need for another soton based radio station to cover the games as radio solent to me have got complacent. What do you guys think? For me worst coverage for a long time.

Just wondering whether alan balls son is still living in chandlers ford and what he does now? I thought he was a great pundit on ocean fm a couple of years back and spoke so well at his dads funeral. He has since vanished. Anyone know what he's doing now or is he still local?

The greatest player by the way and also cortese shoudl do him some favours for being a great servant to the club. At least turn up to the bloody 125 yrs anniversary.

No cortese has messed up big time over this. Pathetic from him. Was a great event and he hasn't done himself any favours. Again, done a good job but lack of respect for clubs history. I'm sure this can be worked out eventually but nicolas public relations need to be worked on big time
