  1. Assuming they've not sold out their allocation (unlikely), away tickets will be on sale from the ticket office window immediately next to the away turnstiles.
  2. I was thinking the same thing, I can't imagine Kettering v Telford is a particularly high-profile game that would actually need policing. Saints have had loads of police-free games at SMS over the years.
  3. I think that is true, but this situation is different from most because of the OldCo/NewCo scenario. Most companies that exit administration with a CVA don't create a new company and have the old company liquidated, as far as I'm aware.
  4. In theory, yes, although it would rarely happen. If a player doesn't (formally) request a transfer, he will be entitled to some sort of "loyalty" bonus because he didn't ask for the move. The amount payable will depend on that player's contract, I don't think it's necessarily an arbitrary value relative to the transfer fee or anything like that, it'll depend on whatever the agent had negotiated at the time.
  5. Not true, actually. Facepalming when you're wrong yourself is a bit silly really.
  6. Much like us with our parent company back in 2009, this can be filed under "circumstances the Football League didn't plan for". You see, most clubs when they go into administration and come out the other side tend to embark on a new wave of austerity and self-sustainability. Most clubs.
  7. Correct, to the best of my knowledge. This is why most smaller clubs insist that their top players hand in a transfer request in order to get a move away. It's a bonus that would be due on completion of the full duration of the contract.

  9. If you remember back to that Panorama programme (strangely, neither Redknapp, Kevin Bond or Sam Allardyce ever did follow up their threats to take legal action), they had set up a meeting in a hotel bedroom to hand over a bung to a PL manager, before Mike Newell opened his big mouth and the meeting was hastily cancelled by said manager... guess who that manager (allegedly) was?
  10. John Gorman had no problem working with England when he was Glenn Hoddle's assistant
  11. The Monday is the day of the winding-up hearing.
  12. You genuinely believe that? Oh noes, that nasty man Rupert wouldn't let poor Harry spunk millions of pounds that we didn't have, and insisted that we play a system which rendered the midfield entirely redundant, hence why the one half-decent player we did look to sign (Andy Reid) told us to **** off when we were given permission to discuss terms with him.
  13. That would be Private Eye, the most-sued publication in British legal history?
  14. And every time they've tried so far, they've ****ed it up. I know which way my money would be going...
  15.
  16. Oh good, Louise Mensch
  17. GroupSave is by far the cheapest option, but requires 4 people. 4 return tickets for the price of 2.
  18. The Suarez case wouldn't have even made it to trial on a criminal case, but as soon as the CPS decided there was insufficient evidence for a prosecution, the FA would have been perfectly entitled to then begin their own investigation, which could/would have produced the same outcome, only much later. Terry is unfortunate that a member of the public made a complaint to the police, which obliged them to investigate. Had they not done so, the FA could have then stepped in and hit him with a similar punishment to Suarez.
  19. This assumes that the wages are being subsidised. Fortunately, we're averaging crowds of nearly 26,000 this season, have increased broadcast revenue by around £4-5m compared to last season, and had the small matter of a £12m injection of funds from Arsenal in August.
  20. "You may harm your defence if you do not mention something which you later rely on in court"
  21. I imagine that would be filed under Contempt of Court as it could/would prejudice a criminal trial.
  22. That's because Terry's one is being tried as a criminal case rather than a civil one. If the CPS wants to bring charges against someone, there's not an awful lot the FA can do about it. Suarez himself admitted that he called Evra "negrito", and the experts the independent panel consulted were pretty clear in their assertion that it was stated in a derogatory manner.
  23. You've got to hand it to AA, he has brass balls. ****ing hell.
  24. Ken Bates can **** right off
  25. How dare you
