  1. Lost ( the thread/plot!)

  3. Thank you kindly Stevo From my sick bed I have dragged myself out just to pass on a few more likely lovely losers: Carlisle 2.15 Button Moon @11/4 - Made a promising debut when finishing 3rd and likely to take a bit of stopping here, particularly as she's entitled to improve. 2.45 Royal Dignitary @ 100/30- Likely to be between the front 2 in the market Moody Tunes and Royal Dignitary who is for me definitely the value bet here. He has an excellent strike rate in recent seasons, and successful on 3 of last 6 starts, all 3 on AW. Equally effective on turf and seems sure to give a good account from the front. Rowan Lodge is not without a chance either @ 7/1 though has a bit to find at the weights.
  4. Thanks Frankie. I just hope the horses are coping better than me with this heat. All winter without even a sniff of a cold and now a stinker. Anyway a couple I do like though without any long winded analysis. Leicester 2.00 : Plutocraft @5/2: Seems we are in with a good chance in this race with 3 different horses tipped ! This lightly-raced three-year-old drops back in distance for this handicap debut but William Buick’s mount showed plenty of pace on his latest start on the all-weather and can add to Fanshawe’s exemplary record with handicappers at this track. Carlisle 5.15 Champain Sands @5/1 : Tricky looking race but one I like is Champain Sands. Should enjoy the ground and has won here in the past over 7 furlongs. Wasn't given too much to do on seasonal debut and will surely come on for that. Good luck all, I'm back to bed Chris
  5. Was he at Burger King :smt102

  11. I could give you many reasons why I tend to leave Irish racing alone kipper, not being able on the whole to get a true picture of the form being one. My advice if you receive a strong word from Ireland for a horse is to ignore it. Lots of talking but also lots of empty wallets !

  13. What's in a name ? Different name from before, still a WUM !
  14. 16 million to one wouldn't even be tempting !
  15. After a decent day yesterday just going to have a quiet Sunday. Have had very strong words for the following but no great prices, might even do a treble and a few doubles? FAKENHAM 4.00 Alahaque @ Evens (General) Really looks to be between Alhaque and Moonstreaker. Alhaque rounded-off last season with success in a Class 2 novice event at Ascot. That’s very strong form to bring to the table on his return to action. However, at around evens not one to get carried away with though the connections are very keen on his chances. 5.10 Ruby Isabel @ 7/2 ( General) Looks worth chancing ahead of Gunnadoit and Ghaill Force. Tim Vaughan's mare doesn't have the greatest of profiles but she takes a bit of a drop in grade today and on ground that should suit she can run well. Her jockey is having a good season and the pair can put in a big performance. Was a beaten favourite last time out, connections will be looking to retrieve losses today. PERTH 3.45 Cabernet Sauvignon : Very disappointed with the price, best price only 8/11. However this in-form hurdler is ridden by AP McCoy who with trainer Gordon Elliott boasts a 48% strike-rate at this course over the past 5 seasons. Looks a very likely winner but maybe one to include if you're looking for one for Kips favourite Super Yankee or a placepot banker ! BATH 3.05 Four Kicks @ 7/4 ( General) : Goes for a third win in a row having performed well at Brighton and Nottingham. Off a favourable mark in this handicap he can kick on to another victory. Cheers, Chris
