I have noticed over the years that Saints fans or people from Southampton can say pompey/portsmouth without too much fuss and term skates/skate is mostly reserved for the football. However people from portsmouth seem to have difficulty saying Southampton/Saints and almost habitually use scum/scummer without any restraint. I find it highly amusing and sad too.

Like the show but JC has become a bit tiresome for my liking. Might have to check out the US and Oz versions though.

Hopefully JP will come to his senses and realise this team needs an experienced spine running down the middle complemented with the young guns. And the team will be alright come the end of the season IMO. Of course its gonna be a rocky season until then!

I would have had Wotton beside Gillett and Surman moved up and have BWP on the bench, meaning the team had a bit more experience. Ah well, beggars be choosers unless I become a part owner of Ebbsfleet!

Fair enough it just seems like John has been used very sparingly this season compared to last season. IMO th ebest tactic is to ping the ball to him just outside the penalty area (at chest height) so he can then control it and volley it in!

Little Man. It was tripe.

Big breakfasts. 4 toast. 2 eggs. A tin of baked beans. 4 Sausages. And a fried tomato. All with a cup of tea as well. Really dont know how I managed that but a few times I was unable to move after eating all that.
