I hope this is fairly low down on your list of concerns as I can't see it changing for the foreseeable future.

Not sure what "PR Management" has to do with this. If the club needs to get a message out then there are many more appropriate and efficient ways than using a local paper to do so. Unless it is actually believed that the club not talking to the local paper is bad PR??

The Echo reneged on an agreement with the club. The role of the local paper is diminishing, whoever within the The Echo decided to go against the clubs wishes basically cut the papers own throat. The club may look petty but the Echo look very dumb in all of this.

Sir Alex Ferguson didn't speak with the BBC for years.

As I type 75% of the 800 respondents from Saintsweb forum back Nigel - given our current circumstance that is as clear an indicator of the fans opinion of the man that you will see. Maybe I'm having a sentimental moment but that does make me a bit proud of what our club is and what our supporters believe in.

Who would make more of a difference. Right now j rod or billy sharp?

J-rod is probably better in defence -
Thank you for your kind observation. You've also made it clear that the likes of Hazard and Oscar are thriving at Chelsea because they are surrounded by those with Premiership experience, even if the majority of those surrounding them did not have previous premiership experience. I was errant with my thoughts that it was because they were quality players and would improve any team they played in. Thank god Cahill was playing otherwise what buffoons Chelsea would be looking right now. Please carry on casting your expert eye on my posts, I'm learning so much here.

Loving this aggressive style Alpine. (Trying to keep this on track) From your stained chair in Austria, do you honestly believe Ramirez is sh*t? Do you not think the money spent on Nathaniel Clyne is money very well spent? Neither have previous Premiership experience, neither would look out of place in all bar the top 4 sides.

As much I'm naturally geared to PMA and as much as I'd love to agree with you I believe we need a minor miracle to stay up. We're just back from an international break where all our defence (bar Fox) would have been in training, plenty of time to sharpen things up and tighten it up at the back and yet we gifted West Ham 3 goals.

Oh please stop abusing me, nasty man. I laugh at your counter argument though. Chelsea's line up in their mauling of Spurs: Cech (no prem experience), ivanovich (no prem experience), cahil, luiz (no prem experience), cole, ramires (no prem experience),mata (no prem experience),oscar (no prem experience), mikel (no prem experience), hazard (no prem experience), torres (no prem experience before being a success at liverpool).

What's a desert spoon? Is it used for collecting and dispensing sand??
