Thank you St Chalet. I don't wish to come across as a moaner, but when forum rules are not applied consistently then confusion reigns. And when you have confusion within a forum, then it is the start of the end. So why is it a sticky then? Are all potential signings going to have their own thread which is made a sticky? It's confusing because (1) you're not meant to make a thread about a target, but put it on the other thread about potential transfers and (2) there are other threads about players, who also haven't signed, which aren't stickies......so what makes this different?

The linesman in that clip is a self righteous tit. What's it got to do with him or the players? They would have gone over anyway, so he was just playing up for the camera that was there. And it's not as if the players set the prices or have any influence over it. If he's got something to say then he should choose who he says it to and when a bit more carefully. And no one has forced those people to pay those prices. If I bought and expensive telly from Samsung I wouldn't expect their CEO to send me a letter of thanks.

Here, here. I'm sick of law breakers (particularly when it comes to road matters) coming on here and making excuses for their poor behaviour and looking for some kind of support. You broke the laws and rules so just man up and face the consequences.

If the penalty was for Puncheon being fouled, that doesn't negate the fact that Rodriguez dived and everyone (bar people on here) saw him dive. For a few months (if he keeps his nose clean) he'll be known as a diver and then people will forget about it (unless you're a Villa fan - particularly if they go down and we stay up just above them)

Where have you got this information from, that he will have a quiet word? No-one has suggested it was an evil act and no-one, other than you, has been silly enough to suggest self harm. The question is, is it ok if Saints players cheat? Reading between the lines of your rather silly post, it seems your answer is "Yes, but it's no big deal". If that's your answer then thats fine, I probably go along with it, but why make it in such a daft manner?

The thread is about whether you are happy for Saints players to cheat. If you think Jay dived, the question is "are you happy about that?", If you don't think he dived, what do you think happened? What Mata did is irrelevant as this thread is about Saints players (I suppose you could argue that if everyone else is cheating then why shouldn't we).

I seriously cannot believe people are claiming Jay didn't dive. I know no-one wants to to think of their team or players cheating, but that's what happened. I don't think he is a habitual cheater or diver, I think he got carried away in the moment, in wanting to win a crucial game and dived. I don't think we'll see him him do it again and, to be honest, I'm grateful of the three points and 15th place is not to be sniffed at. But, to claim that he didn't dive, in my opinion, is delusional.

Why would someone throw a brick at your leg whilst you were jogging? Where do you go jogging?
