Decent enough play. I'm really not bothered we are out, But the decision to VAR cancel the goal is annoying and typical of any attempt we make to try and build some confidence / momentum.

So are we assuming the people on the board don't have advisors and never speak to or get the opinions of anyone with any football knowledge? They may have the final say but why do we have to assume they rely only on their own knowledge and expertise?

We can bang on about the disallowed goal but our overall performance was awful. Needlessly inviting pressure on and allowing them to dominate possession. Total lack of leadership out on the pitch.

We had a goal disallowed. But can you honestly say our performance deserved better?
