Time to get Redmond off and bring on Gabi. Drop Long back out wide in his place...

Lemina justifying being our record signing so far today. Immense.

Wouldn't take much to turn this game around. We still pose little threat coming forwards.

Really solid. but seeing how well Lemina and Hoedt play has made it even more obvious how poor Redmond and Tadic are at the minute.

Hopefully we'll see Long supporting Gabi up front and Lemina back in the team.

Can't see Harry lasting much longer. 5 defeats and barely a goal scored for ages. Sam has come in at a bad time for Brum.

Defeat does feel inevitable. New Manager syndrome etc. But hopefully MP is starting to see the current system does not work.

Hard to see us getting 2 shots on goal. Let alone 2 goals. Unless we improve in the next few games .. relegation form. I think the manager will be gone before it get's that bad though...

Defensive midfield is a weak spot. Romeu not the player he was at the moment. That's where the loose balls are being lost - and they run right through. Lemina must come on soon surely.

I don't think the squad is necessarily that bad. We just always seem to get the wrong mix.

Does seem time to drop Davis and Redmond. Both have been awful in every match. And we do have other options. Yet manager can't see it yet.. hopefully he can learn fast!

Midfield has disappeared. All the loose balls falling to Watford. Matter of time till it's 2-0 at the moment.

BBC Summary: Southampton's performance so far has just been summed up by a woefully overhit pass from Oriol Romeu. He was aiming for Manolo Gabbiadini but the striker can just watch on helplessly as the ball races away for a goal-kick. What is wrong with this team? It's odd..

Isn't this what happened with Berahino? Wanted to go. Sulked when he wasn't allowed. Didn't play much more until eventually sold at a cut price. Guess it depends if VVD want's to be out of the game for another 4-5 months. (I think Berahnio put out a statement about not wanting to play for the chairman again.. so perhaps we can expect one from VVD about Les )
