As long as he apologised, I'd welcome him back. But I don't think the club would ever re-sign him.

I think he played his best position today. Too many times he's been asked to be the advancing attacking midfield player. He's better off sitting back and spraying the ball around the pitch.

Since we returned to the Premiership (4 years) we are operating at minus £30m transfer dealings despite big sales of the last 2 years. The TV money covers some of that, but how much is left over really?
